Dallas Reborn: The Ewings in Knots Landing

Miss Phyllis and Sue Ellen are next to each other on the airplane.

Sue Ellen: Oh calm down. We will land not long from now.

Miss Phyllis: That is easy for you. The last time I was in a plane was when we brought my sister to the ranch and she died in my arms.

Sue Ellen: That will not happen again.

Another gentleman sat in between Sue Ellen and Miss Phyllis.

Richard Channing: Excuse me ladies.

Miss Phyllis: I know who you are. All that business that was going on between you and Nolan.

 

[Ray_Krebbs]

Sue Ellen: How convenient you know each other.

Miss Phyllis: Nolan was their attorney in New York a long time ago.

Richard: I heard of his passing. I give my condolences.
Miss Phyllis: What brings you to California?

Richard: I lived a long time there. I am doing business with a couple women Alexis Colby and Abby Ewing.

Sue Ellen: That does not mean Abby Fairgate Ewing.

Miss Phyllis: That is my nephew's ex-wife.

Richard: It is a small world we live in

 

[Ray_Krebbs]

Richard exits the plane before Sue Ellen and Phyllis.

Miss Phyllis: I know this was a hard year. Pamela appeared again and ended your marriage to Bobby.

Sue Ellen: In the end those two were it for each other. I will find it again.

Miss Phyllis: Maybe true love is here in Knots Landing. We needed this trip to escape Dallas.

 

[Ray_Krebbs]

Allison and Ray pulled up the old Westfork and looked it over.

Allison: This place is amazing but why show me it.

Ray: This used to be Gary's ranch. It is on sale. I want to buy it for us.

Allison: How are we leaving Dallas?

Ray: I will figure it out. We have the twin boys and our little girl. We need more. I think a change in scenery would do us a favor

 

[Ray_Krebbs]

All the Ewings and neighbors listen as Lilimae sings the prettiest thing I ever did see was a miner named Jake in the pine country. Miss Phyllis looks in disbelief. After it ends she asks if she was serious. Sue Ellen is not certain what to tell and Miss Phyllis tells in private not to let Simon Cowell come

Miss Phyllis enters the kitchen and sees Lilimae at the stove.

Lilimae: Mrs. Darth, it is a pleasure to finally meet you. I do not have many friends our age. Most are dead or an old age home.

Miss Phyllis: That is what I wanted to hear. What are you making?

Lilimae: I am trying to make stuffed cabbage.

Miss Phyllis: Ill be damned. I lived in Chicago a long time. I was acquainted with a lot of Polish people. I can help out

Abby sees J.R. and James outside and walks up.

Abby: Wow. How amazing to see you again after all this time. I had no idea that you had this cutie pie of a son in storage.

J.R. frowns.

J.R.: I know you lived around. What is on in that world of yours?

Abby: I am about to go into the wine industry. I am meeting witha Richard Channing to purchase half of his winery.

J.R.: I have heard of him. What can I tell other than good luck

The characters Richard and Sue Ellen are at his old house.

Richard: This is where Maggie died. In this pool.

Sue Ellen: I cannot imag8ne.

Richard: Oh no one can. I tried to move on with her cousin. It was too son. We were not in love. Now there is you. I want to move on

 

[Ray_Krebbs]

The driving to Falcon Crest theme plays as Richard and Sue Ellen drive up to it.

Sue Ellen: Oh, Richard this is the most beautiful place I have seen in my life. It is more beautiful than Southfork.

Richard: And I am happy to hear you say it.

Richard gets on his knees.

Richard: I wanted to do this a long time. I want to make this your home. We can run it with Lance and Samantha.

Sue Ellen: I love you more than anything in the world. It is going to take time to clear up loose ends in Dallas.

Richard: I will be here my love.

 

[Ray_Krebbs]

J.R. and Sue Ellen are at Gary and Val's.

J.R.: I do not know what to think of you marrying Richard. You only knew him less than a month.

Sue Ellen: I think I know enough that I have never been happier in my life. This month changed my whole life.

J.R.: You know John Ross is upset about all of this. He does not approve.

Sue Ellen: I'll deal with it. One way or the other.

 

[Ray_Krebbs]

John Ross is looking through the newspaper article about Jacueline Perrault from the New Globe and chuckles.

John Ross: Oh, Mama. Wait and see what you want to marry yourself into with Channing. You think the grass is greener in Tuscany Valley.

Miss Phyllis: What is going on.

Miss Phyllis walks up to John Ross.

John Ross: Auntie Phyllis.... I was looking at Ewing Oil's new stock and-

Miss Phyllis: John Ross, shut the hell up. I was not born yesterday.

Miss Phyllis snatches all of it from John Ross.

Miss Phyllis: John Ross, this is pitiful. Do you not think your mother knows this already? Sue Ellen knows all about the cartel, the Nazis, and everything. I know through Nolan. Look. This is the most happy I have seen her in the past couple years I have gotten to know her. Why do you want to see her unhappy?

John Ross: You do not get it at all. He has something up his sleeve. I know it.

Miss Phyllis: What is that?

John Ross: I... I do not know

Miss Phyllis: You do not want to see her happy with anyone other than your father. It is all over your face. We are supposed to see Richard's extended family when they fly in. This trip extended longer than we imagined. Please try
