Oh wow. That's the best kind of promotion a film can have. I feel quite excited just reading them. On the subject of Scream, I've ordered the new soundtrack set released yesterday: I've ordered the CD bundle that includes an expanded soundtrack from the new film. They've released some nice vinyl box sets of the four Beltrami films as well. I'm still wondering if I've done the right thing. £85 for seven discs seems pretty steep - especially considering I already have the Deluxe Editions of the first two films' soundtracks - but I've been really hoping for a DE to the third film, and the expanded Scream 4 soundtrack won't come amiss. I'd rest easier it if I knew it wasn't going to halve in price in a few months. Ideally I'd prefer individual DEs for the third and fourth films with covers to match the two already released. That bonus disc, though, is a huge selling point and I suspect that may be exclusive to this set. I felt panicked that it would sell out, which is probably me being gullible to marketing (1800 copies available, which is probably quite a lot for a film score in this price range). But it's done.
