It is the great equalizer, isn't it? Or perhaps I should say It is the great equalizer. Whether you are the richest, most celebrated person in the world or the poorest of the poor, you're equally likely to unleash a great big stinkeroo on the unsuspecting public once in a while. Which is one more thing that should keep all of us from getting too full of.....ourselves.
King George II of Great Britain died on the toilet, straining so hard that he ruptured his aorta. The euphemism "I'm on the throne" (toilet) was derived from this embarrassing situation, the King's enemies only too happy to make light of his death. If something similar were to happen today with a celebrity, we'd likely never hear the end of the bad-taste toilet jokes, given how everyone loves toilet humor (openly or in secret).
