I often find myself excited with TV, from great stories in our soaps to one-off dramas like IT'S A SIN, TIME, HELP, MANHUNT to series like THE HANDMAIDS TALE, SQUID GAME, OUTLANDER, THE LAST KINGDOM.

Even DEXTER returning had me excited.

Sean Slater suddenly appeared in the kitchen on last week's Enders.

That was a fantastic moment. Did you know he was going to pop back for one episode, was it promoted? It reminded me of Wicksy returning after Pat died.

Call it nostalgia, but I anticipated the first episode of the Fantasy Island reboot last week with some excitement.

I keep myself in the dark as much as I can about what's going to happen so I don't know if it was promoted, but it came as a total surprise to me - I didn't know if he was back for one episode, one week or ten years!
