Like the showrunners were over their obsession with the novels and wanted to move on to the next project. The last season felt like a thousand things happened and no event was given more than 5 minutes. I loved MOST of what happened at the end. The only character's ending that I didn't love was Jaime's. The rest was quite fitting and some of it surprising in a good way. I especially loved that what everyone expected was all wrong. I hate predictable endings.</blockquote>
