Here's our friend Linda Gray (who would quite famously be Sue Ellen Ewing on Dallas) in Emergency!, sixth-and-final-season episode "That Time of Year" (OAD Saturday, Oct. 23, 1976 on NBC); she played the role of Judy there (didn't know if you've seen her there before or not); from sixth-and-final-season Emergency! DVD:

He appeared in the Dallas episode where Jamie arrived and Katherine was arrested, but I can't remember what his character Joe Don Ford actually did on the show. Was he perhaps Katherine's lawyer?

Didn't Bobby push him into Pam's swimming pool (not a metaphor)?

Yes, he was at Pam's house for a date, if I recall correctly. Bobby just walks by him and knocks him into the pool. I remember first seeing that scene and wondering if Patrick and Randalph were friends. He seemed too established an actor to do a one off scene like that. I wanted him to stay around longer.
