Meeting the Colbys at home

Some people don't even understand what they're saying, it's just autocue. No, let me rephrase that. They understand exactly half of it.

But that's not enough for The Colbys!

Sable was just jealous at that point that Connie, unbeknownst to her, had a cowboy in her stable, while Jason had lost interest in sex while he was dying. My phone filled in "sex cult" thanks to previous messages about Melrose Place and General Hospital

Not only your opinion of the show is valid. In fact you appear in the minority on your views on Frankie and the Colby sisterly rivalry. Suggesting we only understand half it is, well... a reach.
I'm of the opinion that Frankie was a sociopathic, lying, opportunistic, greedy, passive aggressive, insensitive, selfish, shameless slut of a woman passing herself off as an eternal victim who just never caught a break. Poor Frankie. Why cant she keep a husband, I mean, why cant she keep off her sisters husband. I mean, no, why is everyone hating on her. She loves Jason and Phillip! What's so hard to understand? She really loves them. She's known them both ever so long and she idolises all the little things they do. Oh.. Wait, hang on. I mean.... SHE'S A LIAR.

I remember at one point thinking you wrote this review (it is a review of the DVD on Amazon) :D:

"Francesca (Katherine Ross). A three-car pile-up of Ross’ narcoleptic acting, bad dialogue, and a non-entity of a character. Francesca has powerful men falling over themselves to marry her, yet she has the allure of a mud puddle. She’s a poor mother, mousy, indecisive, purposeless, and falls into bed - and therefore, of course, into love - with any man the forced storylines need her to be with. In Francesca, Ross and the writers have achieved the unprecedented feat of creating a woman that is at once promiscuous and frigid. How anyone can watch this annoying character and not be disgusted is beyond me, and yet we are (apparently) supposed to view Francesca as the heroine of the show. Utterly bizarre."

Ya know... It sounds like me. And I did used to write my reviews on Amazon drunk so the truth would come out. I did buy it on Amazon... Hmmm.

Actually the best assessment of Frankie comes from Roger Langdon when Jason visits him in Singapore.

he says that Frankie doesn’t know what she wants and that the latest voice is the most persuasive ie; Phillip’s.

Neither Sable or Frankie were complete villains which is what made The Colbys superior to Dynasty during this time.

Is Frankie the TV version of one of those daft characters in badly written books that people with low self esteem identify with? Or was she meant to be that? Surely they cant be serious with her being the heroine?

Sable was a Saint! Beatified by the Pope in Rome. I am sure of it.

Yes, this is my first time watching. I know about the alien abduction and Stanwyck leaving after season one. And Philip not being as dead as presumed

I don't think Susan Farragut ever left the mansion. She was murdered! Or maybe it was an accident. Either way, they covered it up, I'm sure of it.

So now sable is trying to Gaslight Constance with a bracelet. Adam showed up as Blake's emissary and Fallon went apoplectic
