Does anybody know what happened to Tracy Scoggins? She was last seen in the public eye in 2015. Honestly I'm worried she's got a serious illness like MS, ALS or Alzheimer. Maybe I'm totally wrong about it, but nobody seems to know anything about her anymore.

I always liked Monica and felt like Dominique selling the record label so early in season two kind of altered the course of her story in a weird way

Where did you like Monica better—in The Colbys or Dynasty? I can never quite decide, because I feel she could have had better storylines in both. In The Colbys, she at least had storylines of her own, whereas in Dynasty, she essentially just served as a sounding board for Sable—and a romance between her and Jeff was something I really didn't need to see.

I read that David Paulsen was impressed by Stephanie Beacham on The Colbys and really wanted her on Dynasty; but did he ever say anything similar about Tracy Scoggins?

From a creative standpoint, it would have made the most sense for Miles—who by that point had long since separated from Channing—to come to Denver and, upon realizing that Fallon was in a serious relationship with Zorelli, turn his attention to Sammy Jo. There would have been more chemistry there than between Sammy Jo and Tanner; furthermore, Fallon could have warned Sammy Jo that Miles had a tendency to become overly possessive. The prospect of Sable becoming Sammy Jo’s mother-in-law could also have been quite interesting.

Evidently, Jeff needed a love interest—specifically his former half-sister—but why was Monica chosen instead of Bliss? Wouldn't Jeff and Bliss have been a hotter couple?

Stephanie Beacham and Tracey Scoggins particularly liked each other, so that may have played a role in bringing Monica into DYNASTY. Jeff and Monica had more of a flirtation than a romance (like Fallon and Adam in Season 3). John James claims he nixed the incest plotline, refusing to do it, but ABC in 1989 was unlikely to permit a full-on incest story, and Paulsen planned to make Jeff and Monica not brother-and-sister anyway.

My problem with the Tanner story was the casting. I guess, in retrospect, he was okay -- soulful and raspy-voiced. But I might've wanted somebody else.
