I know it'll never happen, but if they ever did do an actual sequel series to the original DYNASTY, Joan could still play Alexis as a Dowager Countess type: she just sits there and roasts everyone.

After nuDALLAS, there was talk of a nuDYNASTY -- Evans and Beacham both talked about it, circa 2013, andsaid they'd do it.

But the executives, in their endless and unerring wisdom, prevailed and decided a comic remake with a different cast would hit that reboot sweet spot, and so CW's2017 show made the airwaves, the lowest-rated primetime show for its five-year run.

And all was well in the magic kingdom. Forever.

As for Joan's Cannes Film dress, the bare shoulders is....brave....but apart from that it's an exquisite design.

I don't really see what's so brave about the bare shoulders; they look fine. Obviously she knows how much she can get away with.

Yes. I know. I was there. I *wanted* to like it. And I quit once "Fallexis" appeared onscreen.
