It's a heartache.
Very sad news. There have been lots of stories in the media about her being in hospital and in a coma for about 2 months now but I always thought she would get better, so the news today came as a bit of shock. RIP Bonnie.

What a terrific, gritty voice she leaves behind in her music. A proper powerhouse, but she gave lovely readings of gentler songs as well.

Sad news but not completely unexpected as she'd been in a coma a while ago. Still I had hoped she would recover from her health battles. 
I love her "Rocks and Honey" album that has the UK Eurovision song "Believe in me" on it. It came out in 2013. It's a favorite of mine.
I also love the "Secret Dreams and Forbidden Fire" album that came out in 1986. I got that on LP in a second hand shop many years ago.
But my most favorite song with Bonnie remains "Total Eclipse of the Heart". Such a powerful ballad. Timeless.
