Our mission has the potential of becoming epic according to telly talkers. Our first round started off with lots of promise, with 9 members voting on 68 characters. The second round proved even more popular with 16 members joining in to vote on 148 characters. The third round proved to be even more popular with 21 members voting on 211 characters. Due to the number of characters this time, I have capped it at the top 40. That alone has taken nearly 5 hours to complete and I do have a lot of things to be getting on with today, so let’s press on…

It is quite a task only made harder with characters that I'm not aware of and the shows I've never seen. I'm forever double-checking because sometimes a name can be different depending on who uses the first and second name or who just post the first name, then there are the married names.


BUT - Overall, I'm absolutely loving this. I have no idea who will finish top until I tally it all up and that itself is always exciting.



Once we have all the decades completed, I would like to see who tops the 20th and who tops the 21st century. Then after that, we have an all-out battle to find the ultimate character. I plan to do this via a secret ballot and then countdown through the characters towards a big reveal.
