Well the biggest music hit regarding Dallas was definitely have to be "I hate JR" by the wurzels with the flipside being "I love JR".
I used to listen to the radio endlessly in the hope of recording it on my radio cassette recorder. You could guarantee it would be the song playing when my radio alarm went off in the morning and by the time I had tried to wake enough and pressed every button to start taping, the song was over.

But of course the biggest ever missed opportunity for a Dallas smash hit was Sue Ellen's rendition of People. This could be totally remastered and Sue Ellen could have a right beautiful belter of a voice like I imagined she did when singing to win Miss Texas!
Barbra Streisand would be right to feel threatened.

Music certainly did help make Dallas though. All those different scores used for different scenes to create the feeling and atmosphere. I've always appreciated those composers.
And obviously that iconic theme tune, no words needed.

I'm starting to get copyright notices on these soundtracks so I will not be posting further ones. Sorry.

@kenneth, don´t give up. You just have to find the way to make them think you are not doing what you ARE doing.
I´ll also give you a couple of anecdotes about things that happened to me this week.
The first videos that I posted on this channel were a) "Dallas" previews in Spanish that were excluded from the dvds; and b) Promos for my fanfic "Ewing Empire" using little bits of the Main Theme and background songs without lyrics.

This week they told me that the b) videos cannot be monetized (after 15 years or so!), but it´s ok to me. I used to make them for myself as kind of inspiration for the episodes I was writing at the moment (so writing retroactively in some sense). They still can be watched but they are not happy the theme can be heard during 4 second...

Now the big surprise: It was about my recent video of "Songs used in the supersoaps". It had a lot of shadow-banning, even though I did re-edit it a couple of times. They didn´t let me monetize it, but I appealed it (it´s the right word for it, right?). Since yesterday, that video is visible everywhere and I can monetize it.
What´s the moral? Well, I guess there issno strict rule, they just want to know that the channels and videos are run by real, creative people. When they get bored, they re-watch the channels since the beginning and find new things to ban. But don´t lose hope: YouTube and the internet are constantly changing, and if you get steady audience numbers and show your creativity (as you do), they will notice when that "rara avis" that are algorithms make your videos get more and more likes and clicks. There is no logic but hey, this is internet.

I deleted the videos before reading your post but thanks none the same. The plan now is to finish the full soundtrack and then try to find new ways to share it then.
