When I was growing up Australia was just about invisible on the world scene. I'm sure we were confused with Austria at times.
Now we get to sit at the grown-up table but sometimes being noticed is not so good.

Why is Emmanuel Macron so upset with Scott Morrison?

A fiery war of words has erupted between the French president and Australian prime minister over submarines. So how did it come to this?

Someone should remind the French President that Australian soldiers spilt blood to save his country...not once but twice. I'd also prefer if Australia reverted back to those lazy days when all we worried about was walking across hot sand to get back to our cars after another glorious day at the beach.

I'm not sure that would help so much. His complaints appear not to be entirely without justification - and Morrison's continued obfuscation on the matter isn't helping either.
