An interesting throwback -- doused with the dank, Dante-esque doom of the third-quarter of the '60s -- about the curious problem of sexual inversion.

The commentary, both progressive and regressive, is not so different from today.

This was once a "holy grail" of LGBT history. It's amazing to have access to it today.

Yeah I've often wondered what the gays were like when everything was in black & white back then!

I'm kidding of course.

Seriously though it's a bit of an eye opener that documentary. :)

Sadly, DYNASTY was homophobic as hell -- not just the characters but the show itself.

I've tried to tell younger fans that the portrait of Steven Carrington wasn't a step forward -- even by 1980s standards. But yet they're sure it must've been.

I can't find the entire THIS WEEK: LESBIANS (1965) documentary:


I don't think that I knew that lesbianism was legal in Britain while male homosexuality was not. But then, lesbianism doesn't take anything away from women ...
