I saw it tonight, but I kept dozing in and out -- which made all the surreal car action and conspiratorial cigarette smoke even more mesmerizing than it probably already was.

I think I was one of the few people who didn't hate the S10 finale so I'm a bit disappointed that they've gone with Mulder waking up to find Scully in the shower.
Not too upset about the twist at the end, it was always a possibility I suppose. And knowing The X-Files they'll probably end up rewriting it in Season 27.

I watched the first 3 episodes yesterday.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but was the s10 finale only a vision that Scully had, so that she knows what is about to happen (some parts at least). So we are still getting to the continuation where s10 left off - just at the end of s11?
X-files is a bit too hush hush when it comes to sex. Mulder and Scully have had an on and off sexual relationship for years, but we've only seen a couple of kisses. And in episode s11e03, they had sex twice, but we never got to see any of it, just after the first time, and the prelude to the second. That's mean!
But at least we got these 3 scenes

I liked how they ended things this time. No major cliffhanger, but rather a satisfying end -- if this really was the end?? One never really knows. The CSM didn't succeed, Skinner may or may not be dead and Mulder & Scully can have a bright future despite letting William go. Though I suspect William had something to do with helping his mother move on, considering a pregnancy was "more than impossible".
