I just watched the opening show of the new series of Top Gear tonight and really was disappointed. Just not the same show at all without Clarkson, Hammond and May.
A few key points:
1: No chemistry between the three hosts.
2: Very contrived laughter/response to hosts in studio sequences.
3: No Stig (at least in this first show)
4: An admission of failure from the first reboot series in that the Star in A Rallycross Car has been changed to a Star in a Reasonably Fast Car. Much chopping and changing.
Very poor first show, if the rest of the series performs in this vein, I can't see how they can keep it going.
