Wonderful showing from the DUP, especially in my own glorious North Antrim - thumping victory for Ian Paisley. And quite rightly too. He had big shoes to fill - his father was the best MP ever (and MEP as well), but he is performing very very well.
Especially pleasing to see that the truly awful Naomi Long did not get elected, the only soft spot I have for her is the Garry Bog. The sound of that woman's voice would take the paint off the walls. I do have sympathy for the likes of Mark Durkan and Margaret Ritchie losing their seats but they have paid their price for the leader jumping on Sinn Fein's coattails and trying to out-green them. At least Mark Durkan and Margaret Ritchie commanded respect, Sinn Fein cannot even take their seats but more than happy to take the expenses etc.
Nationally, very disappointed that the Conservatives didn't get a majority but hopefully Theresa May can work with the DUP to produce one.
Cannot believe those detestable individuals in England yesterday who went out and bulk-bought copies of The Sun, The Daily Mail and The Daily Express and promptly burnt them - all because they had the courage to tell folk not to vote for Corbyn. Well if he somehow gets in, they'll get their medicine - for this terrorist lickspittle will destroy the country in a week flat.
