Interesting turn of events. Cullum survived. But because Marco died, no one will know that he stabbed him. And Jason has taken the blame for shooting Cullum. Britt will keep her promise to Jason for sure now. She needs the medication. Cullum, Pascal and Sidwell will guard it better now.

Valentin can likely arrange for Jason to escape, but Jason will be away from PC for months.

Will anyone tell Dante what happened or will he find out later, when it's time for Jason's return?

How will Lucas react if he finds out that he saved Marco's murderer the same time when Marco died? Tough one! Will it be straight to Brad to numb the pain for a while?

How will Sidwell target Sonny? Does he really think that Sonny killed Natalia and Marco? Cullum better hope Sidwell doesn't learn the truth.

I don't see Cullum getting a chance to recover. Between Brennan, Sidwell, Pascal, and other offscreen co-conspirators there are a lot of people who will want Cullum out of the picture, and he's a sitting duck in the recovery room. I'm particularly receptive to the idea of Pascal finishing him off but framing Lucas for the crime since Pascal's plan with the meds was to get Lucas out of the picture whereas Marco was killed instead. I could see Brennan having Cullum killed to bury evidence of yet another rogue agent (and hopefully end this cold-fusion project), or he could emerge as a hero by employing 'fake' WSB agents to show up and take Jason away to a safe location until they can gather the info to prove Cullum was a double agent. Brennan would likely do this for his precious Carly, especially if it helps make up for the whole "luring Joss into the WSB" thing. Heck, even Britt might be tempted to pull Cullum's plug, given what he's been doing to her.

Poor Marco. At least he went out in a blaze of glory. I couldn't help but notice dead Marco breathing while Lucas was emoting all over him, though. ;)

One bit of realism was how poor, put-upon Dante ended up with two black eyes from Jason's head-butt. In each successive scene after the head-butt, the make-up team had his eyes getting more and more racoon-like. The actress playing Justine really nailed the reaction to seeing Dante's eyes in the PCPD. Every actor involved in this past few days has been excellent.

Love such details! Instead of not having any sign of having been beaten, which is a pet peeve of mine regarding how violence is portrayed on film and in series.

I think they put a lot more thought/effort/planning into these episodes so they can submit them for the Daytime Emmys later this year. The clever way they transitioned between scenes (editing tricks, etc.) in one episode was not something they do very often (if at all). There were certainly more individual actors in the episodes than we typically see, more remote work and a good cross-section of action, romance, and tragedy. Best of all (in my view, anyway) was a great big dose of hospital activity, something often sorely lacking in a show called General Hospital.

Other than Britt's "four kids" comment the other day, there was no foreshadowing of another Faison kid out there. It'll certainly dumb-down Liesl's character to place her in that unique club of soap opera ladies who had a baby and "forgot". Given the whole back-story of Nathan's secret birth and adoption, they stretched credibility by claiming she had Faison's son (one) and managed to hide him in plain sight with Madeline. I can't imagine during all that planning that another baby popped out and no one noticed.
Should we just clasp hands and say hallelujah that he isn't Peter August?:ny8:

GREAT performance by Marc Forget (Pascal) today. Another good performer, surprisingly has been Daniel Cosgrove, doing a good job in a tankless role, that could easily be caricature.

Brennan's encounter with Jacinda, unexpected, but interesting. Generally, anything that is negative for Nina is OK with me.
I haven't liked Nina since Nancy Stafford departed.
Most unlikeable female in major storylines since Holly, IMHO

Ric/Liz - liking Ric's redemption tour
Ric/Liz have far better chemistry than Dante/Liz

Seems no matter which man she chooses to be with, Sonny's going to be sitting at her Thanksgiving table. I tend to lean toward Dante/Liz but only because it's not been done before, and I feel like if one more bad thing happens to Dante, he's going to put his head in an oven. But I'm okay with either.

I'm gonna say that we know too little so far. The past has certainly painted Obrecht as a liar. She lied about Nathan being Madeline's son. She lied about Victor being his father. She can have lied about Cassius too. Maybe she placed him elsewhere to keep the boys apart to improve the chances of at least one surviving. Or maybe she was told one twin was stillborn? Or one twin was kidnapped when she was sedated for an emergency c-section?

Or Faison played them all, like he did plenty of times. Maybe he knew all along that Obrecht had his boys and made sure to get one of them by faking a stillbirth?

When it comes to who is smarter and more resourceful between Faison and Obrecht, I definitely say Faison.

Maybe it's just the Southerner in me, but I hate that the show did not address the absence of Blaze (AKA Allison) from the funerals of both her mother and her brother. They didn't even have to have her in attendance (though it would be proper), but not even mentioning her? If this was a funeral in the South there would have been remarks about Blaze getting too big for her britches and not paying proper respect.

Sure, she was estranged from Natalia but from what others said, she had a good relationship with her brother. Blaze's ex Kristina was at Marco's funeral; she could have mentioned to Sidwell that she spoke to Blaze on the phone from wherever she is right now and she sends her sympathies.

Would Blaze send any sympathies to Sidwell, though? I'm fine with her not attending the funerals. Simply because she was a minor character who we don't need to hear more from.

Cassius seems honest about trying to protect Rocco. I think he really is in love with Lulu. Even though he's lying to her.

Is Ric the new Jason (minus being the hitman)? Sonny's new sidekick when Jason is gone.

I am missing a scene where Liz informs people that she has spoken to Jake about Jason. It would be nice to hear that Jake and Danny are talking via phone off-screen about Jason.

I was doing some work that may have distracted me, but I believe Liz did mention Jake to Dante when they had that scene at the hospital. I remember thinking they ought to discuss why his "year abroad" at art school has extended to 18 months and counting, not even coming home for breaks.

It's been reported that RP extended his short-term contract. People made it sound like "Cassius" was here to stay, but I believe he only did it because of all the chaos surrounding Burton's temporary departure (and to a lesser extent because Kirsten Storms didn't return on schedule). I still think Paevey will leave sooner rather than later---maybe when Steve Burton returns?--and hopefully he won't be written as "evil Faison spawn goes berserk again" on his way out. That kind of stuff is not the actor's main strength.

Jordan next to be killed off? I got that impression when she and Curtis crashed. Who is in the other car though? I am thinking Danny and Charlotte. Rocco shot Cullum, so why not his friend & sister possibly causing a car crash?

Jordan feels like a character GH can live without just fine. There must be a reason why her life is "perfect" right now. Back with Curtis, Trina & Stella have accepted it, Portia has agreed to share custody and she's gotten no where with Sidwell and is in no harm. And TJ is fine wherever he is. A soapy position before getting killed off.

The way they quickly decided Oh, no...she's not pregnant after all! made me think they abruptly changed their mind and decided to write her out, or maybe the actress opted to leave since she really isn't being given a lot to do. When Anna was removed from the scene, Jordan could have (should have) taken on that kick-ass, take-down- the-bad-guys-while-dressed-to-the-nines role in her supposed role as the mole within Sidwell's organization. They essentially forgot she was even a part of that plot for months. I have no idea if she's actually leaving, but I would not be surprised. Soap viewers should know by now that the only time you see a character get into a car is when there's going to be a crash (with that terrible "hard right" camera move as the characters lean left in the stationary car).

It was somewhat clever how they set up a lot of characters to be "in transit" at the time of Jordan's car crash. BLQ was on her way to Charlie's after they made a point of lingering on her downing a large glass of wine. I think that was just a red herring, though. Charlotte and Danny are most likely, especially with Alexis quizzing Charlotte on her driving skills for the first time ever. Isaiah was driving to Lulu's house. If he gets hurt/killed Portia has another reason to hate Jordan/Curtis. In a preview I saw Carly and Valentin in a car, but they may have been on their way to save/help Danny and Charlotte. I hope this doesn't drag Val out into the open for Brennan to see him!

With the mystery of who caused the car accident (together with the distracted Jordan) is a nice twist. Obviously, the other driver survived just fine and could drive on.

This story will only carry weight if Jordan actually dies of her injuries. If she survives without lasting injuries, this story won't lead to much.

There are a number of suspects. Brook Lynn, Isaiah, Ava, Danny/Charlotte. More? All we know is that Danny/Charlotte hit something, but we don't know if it was Jordan's car.

I think the 2 most interesting alternatives would by Brook Lynn and Isaiah. BLQ because she had been drinking wine, and Isaiah because he's with Curtis's baby mama.

Isaiah reacted a bit much when Portia told him about the accident. Does he really care for Jordan that much, or does he feel guilty?

Is BLQ feeling guilty for driving after having wine or because she knows something happened?

Still no Ethan yet. Jacinda's ex?
The enabling of Sidwell... YUK
In their day, Luke and Robert would have defeated him without a sweat

Lucy and Ava competing for him... They deserve what they get then

Too bad we don't have the likes of Luke and Robert etc anymore. And Sidwell took care of Anna.

Lucy isn't fighting for Sidwell anymore. She told BLQ of her plan to take Deception back from Sidwell by using her and Ava's fighting to her advantage. Lucy thinking she's smart.... But it may work, if Sidwell feels that he has plenty enough and don't need Deception anymore.

I'm operating on the theory that Jacinda and Ethan know one another and she is running a con. When she ran off to Australia (after being paid off by Drew) she likely met up with Ethan, and though she's acting like a reformed woman, she's still pulling little stunts to enrich herself at Crimson and generally looking out for #1. Once Ethan arrives they will reveal the extent of their plans as well as the target. He might object to her taking advantage of his cousin Michael or he might not care, since Michael is so fabulously wealthy and won't miss a few million dollars. Olivia's recent objections to having Jacinda around seemed odd at the time, but I think that was the writers trying to establish at least one person in Michael's orbit who isn't fooled by Jacinda's act, someone who can spot a con and act on it to "protect the family".

Kristina and Ethan have a storied history (she falsely accused him of beating her up and Sonny almost had him killed!) so perhaps this flirty "thing" between Kristina and Jacinda is engineered to ultimately hurt Kristina, but that would be hard to swallow since so much time has passed and he doesn't seem the type to hold decade-long grudges.
