I'm thinking the piece of "art" (and I use that term loosely) Ric bought for Liz will be tied to dead Delilah. The shady provenance on the piece only adds to the suspicion, what with Delilah (RIP) having ties to art galleries and an art-y tattoo on her arm, plus the suspiciously empty purse next to her when she was found. She could have had that piece with her, intending to fence it when someone caught up and stole it from her after beating her up. I could see Ric (and Ava) unaware that maybe the piece was stolen by its previous owner and the real owner being willing to kill to get it back. (I'm not sure they want to make Ethan the father of baby Phoebe.) Ric placing Liz in danger by giving her a valuable piece of art is just the kind of "best intentions, worst outcomes" maneuver we have come to expect from him.

Also, I've come to the conclusion that they're going to reveal Cassius is not one of the "big bads" and is in fact working inside the Sidwell/Cullum organization to bring them down, all while pretending to be working with them. Back when Jason last returned, he was being forced to work for Agent Cates on a sort of "death squad" that went around assassinating various mob figures. While Jason pretended to be going along, he was actually undermining their efforts and making sure certain people (like Sonny, Ava, and Ms. Wu) did not get killed. This looks like a similar situation, since Cassius has been doing various "lackey work" for Sidwell and Cullum, but he has not murdered anyone or done anything terribly evil. In fact, he's shown the ability to help the good guys and kept key information from Sidwell and especially Cullum that keeps those two for succeeding. I think his decision to lock Joss in the Wyndemere dungeon was ultimately for her own good as well as his own; I don't think Sidwell even knows she's in his basement, since Cassius is bringing her food rather than Pascal (who would definitely tell S&C that she's there and a WSB agent). Everyone just assumed that Cassius is a bad guy because of his grand Nathan deception, but he's been doing as much good as bad with respect to the "Faison's Final Project" story. He will definitely have to answer for the stolen identity, but just marking him down as another villain in the piece doesn't ring true. Sure, Cassius's father is Cesar Faison, but then Faison was Nathan's dad too and Nathan was undeniably one of the good guys.

Whenever Tracy warns others—most recently Ethan—about Sonny, claiming that he is responsible for the deaths of people she loved, I find myself wondering who exactly she is referring to. Presumably AJ—someone she didn't have much affection for herself, but who counts because Monica loved him—but who else does she mean? Can you recall whose deaths among Tracy's loved ones Sonny is supposedly responsible for?

I find Ethan's return good so far. I'm always pleased when a returning character doesn't take over the show, but is instead reintroduced unobtrusively.

Jordan's personal tragedy is a bit exaggerated—more of a weaker umbrella story that doesn't have to last for months to come.

Rocco's storyline is pretty strong. Who would have thought that Jason's exit could lead to something this good—and, above all, that Jason wouldn't be missed at all?

Maybe Tracy regards Alan as collateral damage from Sonny's actions
Maybe Justice Ward? I don't remember exactly.
.Emily? I don't remember

So I am guessing that Isaiah's career as as surgeon is done, maybe leading to his exit story where
he spirals downward

Tracy does indeed feel that Sonny's actions hastened the death of Alan, though Sonny was not directly responsible. He was responsible for "both" of AJ's deaths (only on a soap can we say that unironically) and Emily's. I'd also say she considers the way he "adopted" Jason into the mob life as a death of sorts, since we never saw Jason Quartermaine again. Michael ought to be Michael Quartermaine, Heir to the Quartermaine Dynasty but is instead Michael Corinthos due to Sonny and Carly's machinations. Michael has embraced his Q side more in the past year but Tracy likely feels Sonny's influence/interference on Michael "poisoned the well".

Overall I would say Monica had more of a right to hold that "destroyed my family" line over Sonny's head than Tracy does, but Tracy is much more efficient and accomplished when it comes to holding grudges and these sorts of things are best left to the experts.

I like that without Jason around to be an all-purpose Captain Save-A-Ho for Britt, her first instinct is working to juggle her secrets and her enemies on her own, not just running to someone else to fulfill that role (Carly-->Valentin; Sonny-->Ethan). It sort of impresses on the viewer that though she wants Jason in her life, she doesn't NEED him in her life to go around mopping up her messes.

They announced yesterday that Kate Mansi (Kristina) was leaving, and today revealed Kristina's inexplicable acceptance to medical school :confuse: despite her never having expressed any such interest in medicine....or even completing college! They might as well have announced she's been hired as the new Doctor Who.

I would say that Tracy absolutely should not blame Sonny for the deaths of Emily and Alan. Diego Alcazar killed Emily because he was a lunatic who wanted to walk in his dad Lorenzo's shoes. And Alan died because of a heart attack when Jerry Jacks held him hostage. And that was because he wanted Lorenzo Alcazar's briefcase.

Tracy should have more hate for Lorenzo, Diego and Jerry. It's not like PC would lack villains if it wasn't for Sonny.

Curious to see if GH will have Chase cheat on BLQ. It seems that all characters think it is highly possible, almost a sure thing. But because of that, I think he won't cheat. At least I hope he won't. I want Chase and BLQ to be one of those extremely rare "happily ever after" couples on soaps. And that they get to adopt Phoebe. Even if the truth about Ethan comes out. If he has no interest now to parent Phoebe, he probably won't in the future either.

Cullum is growing on me!! Most likely because I saw some clips on Instagram with the actor being himself. He is a delight in real life. 0% cold and stiff like his character. And now I can't unsee that. I want to know more about Cullum and why he is like he is.

It has been nice to see Lucas working with Sonny lately. Nothing to bring characters closer than a common enemy. Next, I want Sonny & Josslyn to join forces! I am tired of her hatred for Sonny. To me, the hate is 100% because she felt let down when he left their family. Why else hate Sonny but love his hitman Jason? It makes no sense if it's not about the family.

I hear Steve Burton & Finola Hughes are back filming. It will be great to have them back.

Though many are arguing that BLQ has become too "domestic" as Mrs. Chase and would like to see her return to her scheming ways, I'd also like to see those two weather the storm and become a strong couple who stick together. Since the show seems unwilling to invest screentime in Ned/Olivia, the Q mansion should have at least one strong married couple in the mix. You have to admit, if BLQ needs advice on repelling an attack on her marriage, Queen of Adultery Lucy Coe is a great source.

I don't think Ethan is actually Baby Phooey's father. I think he is trying to make sure the real father doesn't find the baby....but since Ava insisted on mentioning the Q's to that gallery owner there is a trail back to the baby.

I'm so looking forward to seeing Dr. O as the most disagreeable hostage in history. It's kind of a full-circle moment, since we first met Liesl as Robin's captor, holding her hostage and forcing her to do research on bringing "Jason" (actually Drew) back from the dead. I wonder if Emma will get to mention the irony of that? If I were writing the show I would have Dr. O intentionally sabotage "the prototype" so that the runaway cold-fusion reaction blows up Wyndemere and wipes all of Spoon Island
off the map, taking Sidwell, Cullum, and (maybe) Cassius with it. Cassius could die a hero saving Dr. O, Joss and/or others from the explosion, leading Josslyn to keep Cassius's "not Nathan" status a secret from all of them out of respect for him turning out to be "not so bad after all".
