I like to imagine Channing spanked him into a false confession.
L.B. or Miles?

I really dislike that Zach lost his edge in the second season, spending several episodes waiting for Sable's answer. In the seasonal bible, he was supposed to call Dominique and make a play to her in order to make Sable jealous. It's a pity that this plan was scrapped, I think Ricardo Montalban and Diahann Carroll had some interesting chemistry in the scene they played together (beginning of season 2)...

While there has been a lesser focus on Zach as the season goes on due to other stories reaching their climax, I have really enjoyed his grudging patience with Sable because it feels like it reveals something about him and shows that, perhaps partly, he does have genuine feelings for Sable. It feels like I'm watching something about the character, and there's been plenty of other scenes in which Zach has been just as vicious or cunning as ever.
I really like Sable and Phillip's friendship.

Yes, they have a really marvellous on screen chemistry, but somehow Parks manages that with every other character he's on screen with as well. Michael Parks was such a great addition to the cast!
There is a fascinating and beautiful captured melancholy over those last few episodes and I so wish there would have been a third season ... but sadly now there are just 4 more chapters of this great and highly underrated show left ...![]()

The end should always feel like a UFO flight, don't you think?
Come to think of it, the Colby offices look a lot like the Great Northern over at TWIN PEAKS, so clearly that show was inspired by the Colbys as well.
A UFO crash? Is there any other way?
Not to forget that Michael Parks plays a mysterious bad guy in there as well! And don't get me started on Ray Wise (Spiro)!
Too bad it's already over. I'm gonna miss those reviews of yours!![]()
What's going to be the next review, JROG?
