Any idea what that was supposed to be? Karen having an affair or..?

Also, anyone else having difficulties following this? I’m probably listening to it only when I drive to the valley through a canyon or something long and without reception like that

The mind boggling thing about Michele Lee is that she is so much different when you talk to her in a natural environment.
She’s so smart, analytical, funny. Conversation is flowing, no awkward moments, can talk for hours

Which goes with what I said about Michele playing at being a diva. I think the whole "all about me" thing is part of the show.

To me she’s over compensating for her own insecurity.l If you watch the podcast where her maroon5 nephew is interviewing his father (her brother) he actually talks about something similar.

But definitely NOT with Donna Mills. She's the most down-to-earth in my opinion. If it really does get more and more into these "Me Fist" diva stories, I'm personally out as a viewer. Even if there are some really cool guests.

This was a really good episode and a guest who should definitely be back to talk more about BTS anecdotes that fans really wanna hear. Maybe show some of her scenes as well, as it seemed they only remember her death and attempting to "suicide" Val. She was an interesting, if morally bankrupt character and sounds like a great person = a great actress!

I love that Teri was talkative and really provided some good perspective on not only the character of Jill, but also on her life post-acting.

On a show like Knots, a performer had the power to craft a performance that would inspire the showrunners to shift gears and how the show shifted gears with Jill in season 9 really is due to the intricate work of Teri on crafting Jill's character. Jill was someone who appeared to have it all together when she first came onto the scene... but as we learned, that was a cover for someone that was damaged by the death of her parents and further damaged by the murder of her brother and not being able to properly grieve him.. and having his killer (Paige) go free.

I mostly agree with your assessment- certainly agree about Teri, Jill not entirely. Upon arrival, she set her sights on one (Mack) then another (Gary) married, unavailable man, which most of us don't consider having it all together. The only difference was the Gary kept his conscience in his little head, but it still ended badly - more so for Jill...

It doesn't count if she's not wearing the rubber gloves and wig.

For whatever reason I didn't expect too much of this, but I loved it. Teri came across really well, and I'm glad she remembers so clearly how she got the role. That was a great story about stepping in on the day.

So nice to hear about her commitment and passion for The Amanda Project as well. The fact they're all animal lovers gives them a boost in my estimation.

Also, I now want Donna Mills to send me a gift-wrapped shoe box.

Finally an episode worth watching! I loved Teri and her memories about Knots. I was losing my interest for this podcast (or whatever it is) because of the uninteresting guests of late. The only person they haven´t invited is their plastic surgeon... I also feel bad for Joan, who seems to be a little off, maybe she can´t hear the dialogues well. Again, I can see a bit of Abby in Donna, and maybe Abby would act the same (or worse!) if she were doing a podcast with Karen and poor, poor Val.

As the podcast has gone along I've fallen into only watching the ones with Knots guests and that works for me. I don't mind skipping a couple of episodes here and there.

If those non-Knots guests are getting views and interest that's great. Donna seemed quite happy with the arrangement in the Michael Fairman video above (even though she also said that people keep asking them to have more Knots cast on).

Donna just comes across as much more sharp than the other 2 ladies regarding recalling specifics of KL. I was also losing interest quickly due to the guests recently. KL people are the preferred - and repeatedly is fine. Olivia and Jill would certainly have much more to share than a single Pod...

I'd love if the women would watch certain milestone episodes and do a podcast discussion on those episodes.

For instance, the episode where Val gets her twins back, The Three Sisters episode, Karen losing Sid, etc.

They'd have to pay royalties to all the concerned parties (including themselves, oddly enough) if they used an entire episode of the series in their podcast. Intellectual property rights, re-transmission fees and all that. The best they could do in that regard is perhaps some clips....but even those would have to be short and judiciously chosen to avoid people coming after them with their hands out. So translation: no episode reviews likely.

I find it curious that they haven't invited KL writers, directors or producers to visit, nor any of the "fun" people like hair/makeup/wardrobe from behind the scenes. Obviously Filerman and Jacobs are no longer available for comment, but there were/are many others who had impact on the series that should have tons of cool stories.

Numerous TV-themed podcasts are based around episode reviews -- The Sopranos, Melrose, 90210, Dallas, Homicide, Top of the Pops, about a billion Doctor Who podcasts, etc. -- without playing the episodes themselves. Instead, the hosts and guests do the prep beforehand (i.e. they watch the eps and make notes) and then discuss their findings "on air" (or the podcast equivalent thereof). From the little I've heard of the Knotcast (and why didn't they just call it that?), it could stand a little preparation.

This was certainly a step up from some of the other more recent ones - and not just because it was more Knots-related. Teri is just an interesting person. The story of how she got the role was revealing. As I recall, in her first appearance, the character wasn't even named. Hopefully, when she come back she'll talk about how it was developed into a major role.
