It's been my habit for at least a decade to re-watch favorite, classic sitcoms at a rate of no more than 1 or 2 episodes per day. There are about a dozen shows I cycle through, from I LOVE LUCY to MARY TYLER MOORE to THE SIMPSONS to ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT.
I almost never re-watch dramas. For one, I can't even keep up with the new shows on my "to watch" list, let alone try to add shows I've already seen. I also find that most dramas, particularly of the serialized nature, end poorly. No matter how much I loved a show in its early seasons, if it sputtered or fell apart at the end I have no interest in ever seeing it again. I started re-watching GAME OF THRONES a few months after it ended but, knowing what was to come, I just couldn't sustain interest. When the mood strikes me, I find watching some "best of clips" on Youtube to be faster and more satisfying as a nostalgia refresher.
