Today I received my "Murder She Wrote" Dvd-boxset, this box set looks a bit different than the one I showed before, because here the movies are also included and the movies were not on the other Dvd- boxset picture.Anyway enjoy your big boxset.
And i 'm glad it's indeed a region 2 release, I have already tested one dvd in my blu-ray player and the DVD just plays fine all the episodes.
To be honest i'm glad i've got this dvd-boxset and not the one where the movies were missing on the other boxset.

Well...I think it's complete. Series 7 was a possibility but I don't know if it's ever going to happen.
Series 6 is new to me but I'll need to rewatch series 1 to 5 first.

The main difference is that the American Release runs with correct speed, while the UK set runs 4% too fast (because of PAL speedup) and because of that has higher pitched voices and music.

I've never noticed that with Dallas or any of the other Region 2/4 PAL discs I have.

They run all too fast by 4%. Every episode runs 4% faster/shorter than they should due to the PAL-speedup issue.
So the music is higher and all voices sound higher than what the actors sound like originally.
For that reason, an US-Relesae is almost always the better choice to view US shows as they were intended to look and sound like.
If you watch those discs on a standalone DVD player, there's nothing you can do about that, except for gettin a region free player and ordering the US R1-versions.
BUT for anyone watching DVDs on a Laptop with VLC player, there actually is a workaround for R 2/4-Discs though!
You just need to change two settings regarding sound pitch and playback speed in the advanced settings tab. If anyone is interested, i can explain those settings here.
