Several characters returned to Knots Landing. The returns of Valene and Abby in the series finale, as well as Richard’s appearance at Laura’s memorial service, were particularly memorable. Fans were also pleased to see Diana and Tom return in season 14. Mary Francis returned as a recast, followed a few episodes later by her mother, Jane. While those returns were brief, other characters came back for longer stints after short arcs before: Linda, Anne, and Nick—with Anne’s return even becoming permanent.
