I like the aqua elements. But I've said before that The Colbys should have been the Aqua Dynasty.
But the floor is too dark for that room. I like it, but this is the one time it should look more pale and pastel-y.

It's just random stuff in a room. It looks neither comfortable nor practical and it doesn't look at all like the room of someone who is off saving the planet or was it the whale? I forget, but yea, it just doesn't at all sit with who Bliss is.

It looks like the room of someone who's rich enough to fill it with random and non-practical stuff just for the heck of it.

OK, seriously now. I think it's supposed to look like a girl's room and somehow they never updated it because it's so "cute" (barf!)
Or maybe they spent everything on Miles and Monica's rooms and there wasn't any money left to change her room.
Do you know what that means? They just pretended to like her!

And why is there a vest pinned to the wall?

I mean I actually think I get what the room is supposed to be. Sable runs a gallery and it's clearly meant to be a sort of 3D living David Hockney painting. I'm just not sure that that really shows up well on screen. Instead it just looks like random stuff in a room.

Well the art thing on The Colbys had more to do with the people running it. I think it was Bast who was an artist and a set designer/dresser for Fox in the 1960s/70s. The sets were usually better. The art was always better, than Dynasty's. I thought of the Hockney painting the first time I saw it, but thought it still looked awful. I don't know what it is it just doesn't look right. I think the dark floor kills it. Like said above maybe here more pastel could have worked in it's favour? Pastel blue carpeting to mimic a swimming pool.
Yea I just don't think it quite works. It looks unfinished or half done.

I didn't, but there is something about that tiny table, the combination of those colours - pale green & organic pink - that reminds me of something else.

No, I was inferring that the creators/producers of The Colbys were just more creative types than the Satanists that ran Dynasty. :eek::crazy:
