How long will it take us to get to 10,000 posts?

I keep myself on a pretty strict diet all week but on the weekend all bets are off. I’ve been eating junk since I got home from work Saturday afternoon up until Sunday night but I think it’s good to do that. It balances things out. Tomorrow it’s back to the grind. I can’t be strict with myself for 7 days straight.

That's a great attitude to have. I don't think it does anyone any favours to completely ban favourite food and snacks, a bit of what you fancy is fine with me.

Lol!... I'm just laughing at myself as I always seems to be chatting about food when I come on TT I'm not really obsessed with it, honestly I'm not.

Besides Publix we also have Whole Foods, which is very expensive but I do like it for a lot of things. It’s more of a store for organic foods, which I’m not a big fan of, but they do have some amazing stuff as well.

I didn't realise until you asked, but after doing a bit of research I've found that yes, we do have 7 Whole Foods stores in the UK,, all are located in London only. I hope they open some more stores up in the North, I think they have an on-line ordering service so I'm going to have a proper nosy later.

It is my dream Lashes but experience tells me that most people aren’t going to be deterred by the December 8th deadline. It will stay steady throughout I’m guessing. DFF always ends up in a straight jacket by the 25th.

Only one more month DFF, you can do this ... thats easy for me to say when its you having to cope with the stress of delivering in the run up to Christmas. Do you get all Christmasy at work, can you wear Santa hats when out and about?

The truth is I’m pretty lucky to have them. Not sure what I’d be doing the last 23 years if I didn’t end up there. We’ll just keep that between us though cause I don’t want them to know.

I agree. I know people that will never touch certain foods if they feel it’s not part of their diet but I don’t like doing that. Being strict is fine but I don’t think it’s good to be too strict. Why deprive yourself?

Well I’m obsessed with it. I am counting the hours til Thanksgiving dinner. But I know how it’s going to go. I eat too much too fast and then about 10 minutes into dinner I’m already stuffed.

Yes, they do online orders. I’m sure of it. I go there for so many things I can’t get in Publix. I get things there like London Broil, orange chicken, minestrone, Thai Chili Shrimp, Greek Salad and Tiramisu.

Ooo of course, I hadn't even thought of this. So those cute Owls are baby eagle killers! :eck:

I have missed so much of the Eagle chat in my absence.

He is so photogenic! what a cheeky face he has .. Lol!

I'm thrilled they have the cameras on, even if no one is in the nest its a treat to see the nest in autumn.

Most of the leaves have fallen here and it's been a windy day in Eagle country.

Considering all she's been through she looks good, her top leaves are very glossy and healthy looking. Do you know what colour her blooms will be?

No, she is a complete mystery which is excited when, if she blooms next year.

Naked? ... poor thing, I bet she was cold.

In all seriousness I'm pleasantly surprised that Orchids survive such a journey because they're without water or food whilst in transit and of course they must get a bit bashed about too. Flyleaf must be a toughie

Indeed she is. They travel by two-day mail so it's a quick travel overall.

Four more? Oh my goodness me you're going to be busy with all these newbies Michelle.

Five now as I was given another one this week. The flower lady must not have sold too many orchids this Autumn. I have gotten nine in total that didn't sell since September. They arrive dehydrated but they spring back quickly.

Thank you. I have counted seven of my orchids putting one new flower spikes with the cool weather. I hope to have a new show of blooms in January or so. Many of these are my 2020 purchase orchids.

I hope no time soon. I don't want to get carried away with this but I will never say never. I have my hands full put always have place in my hot heart for a plant in need.

I like your philosophy DFF and I agree, why deprive ourselves of certain foods completely, if I did that it would have the opposite effect on me, I would become obsessed with thinking about foods I'm not allowed.

I love this! I've never seen a truck with a Christmas bow, what a great idea! I can understand why you don't bother with hat, even now I keep forgetting how hot it is where you are.
