The news story of the waitress in Georgia who fought back against a man who groped her has reinforced that there is an uneven set of rules based on gender.

I condemn what the man did. His behaviour was beyond unacceptable, not to mention illegal and immoral. It's pleasing that his vile act was caught on film, allowing him to be prosecuted.

But I can't help wondering what would have happened were the genders reversed and a man who had been assaulted in this way then responded by grabbing the clothing of a female perpetrator, putting an arm around her neck and forcefully slamming her into hard furniture. Would the man be universally cheered as a hero and the incarnation of empowerment? Would the woman have spent two days in a police cell? Or would the conversation around it be somewhat different?

I read somewhere else where she was claiming that it was him that assaulted her and that the money given to him months later was to help him. Right, you decided to 'help' someone who assaulted you to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars. And now she has a new story. Clearly we can't believe a word that comes out of her mouth.

One of the actors accused of sexual misconduct during last fall's #MeToo momentum will not be facing any charges due to insufficient evidence.

Prosecutors in Los Angeles declined to pursue the case against GOSSIP GIRL star Ed Westwick who was accused of rape by two women and sexual assault by another.

As a result of the accusation, Westick's scenes in a recent Agatha Christie miniseries on BBC "Ordeal by Innocence" were cut and re-shot with another actor.

The actor has maintained his innocence since day one and branded the accusations as "provably untrue."

Feminism is apparently a really big deal there, and yet they've failed to remove urinals from pubic men's room because standing during urination is an expression of male sexual dominance over women as has occurred in some European countries. So far.

#MeToo, #TimesUp, and now #BelieveWomen. The movement keeps getting rebranded, but the idea that women are always telling the truth in these cases remains consistent.

At least some people are still willing to inject nuance and logic into the conversation, as opposed to the one sided view third wavers and SJWs have.
