The Omen
This horror movie franchise began in 1976 with the movie The Omen, which was about a couple who had a stillborn child. The man is convinced by a priest to take another newborn baby instead that is an orphan and raises that child as it's own. That child is evil personified and horrible deaths starts to happening after they move back to Great Britain. There are five films in this franchise. In the first Damien is a child, in the second a teenager and in the third an adult. There are also two tv-movies. The original movie stars Gregory Peck and Lee Remick.

Halloween
This horror movie franchise began in 1978 with the movie Halloween. It is a story about Michael Myers who is committed to a sanitarium after killing his older sister as a child. 15 years later he escapes and the killing spree continues. There are ten films in this franchise.

Okay so it's time for another round and this time it's this director:



Steven Soderbergh is an American director, screenwriter and producer. He was born on January 14th, 1963 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He is of Swedish, Irish and Italian descent. The family relocated to Charlottesville, Virginia when he was a child and then to Baton Rouge, Louisiana when he was a teenager. It was here he discovered film making and filmed his first films using super 8. He also took some film courses at the university at age 15. Steven Soderbergh began his career in the 1980s when he moved to Hollywood after graduating from High School. His breakthrough came in 1990 when his first movie Sex, Lies and Videotape (1989) won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes film festival. It became a commercial success and was also nominated for an Oscar award. His career took off and he won the Oscar for best director for his movie Traffic (2000).

Soderbergh is famous for being an Independent film maker who has directed approximately 25 feature films. But which one is your favorite?

This is an American drama movie that is based on a true story. It's a biography that follows the pianist and singer Liberace's final 10 years and his romance with a younger man named Scott Thorson. In the movie they are portrayed by Michael Douglas and Matt Damon. It's of course directed by Steven Soderbergh.

Okay so for our next round I figured we'd list movies by this star:



Robin Williams was an American actor and standup comedian. He was born on 21st of July, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. His father was an executive of the Ford Motor Company and his mother was a former model. He was the youngest of three brothers. Robin was of English, German, French, Welsh, Irish and Scottish descent. His family moved to California after his father retired from work when Williams was still in High School. He majored in acting in college and began his career as a standup comedian in the 1970s.

His first big break came with the TV-series Mork and Mindy (1978-1982) where he portrayed the alien Mork. He then went on to a movie career where he starred in Popeye (1980). But his movie career didn’t take off until with Good Morning, Vietnam (1987) where he was nominated for an Academy Award. Williams then went on to having a very successful movie career in the 1990’s and went on to win an Oscar for Good Will Hunting (1997). As an actor he was known to improvise a lot and he also did a lot of voice work for animated films.

Robin Williams died on August 11th, 2014 at the age of 63. He made approximately 70 movies in his lifetime. But which one is your favorite?
