I always believe in challenging homophobia (and racism, xenophobia and sexism) so I apologise if I have not done this. No one should have to deal with that kind of abuse alone.

I know it's a completely different form of bigotry, but one of the reasons why I dislike Mr Trump so much, and want to see him comprehensively beaten this week, was seeing him mock a man because of his disability. People like that should have no place running country; a leader should represent all the people, not just the able-bodied ones.
