Watching the eagles

[Trick-or-Treat Stevens]

The Three Amigos make an night appearance at the nest. Alien eyes.

The are very active at night.

They stay together. What a great year for this nest.

[Trick-or-Treat Stevens]

They still keep up with their appearances.

[Trick-or-Treat Stevens]

It's been a while but Autumn has arrived for Lipstick and Guy.

Not much going on with the old Liberty and Freedom nest. A few visitors.

[Trick-or-Treat Stevens]

The alien eyes are back.

[Trick-or-Treat Stevens]

A new visitor to the Hanover nest.

A black vulture.

Lipstick and Guy hard at work again.

[Trick-or-Treat Stevens]

A quick look at the nest as 2025 begins.

A woodpecker at the Hanover nest.

and....

Guy and Lipstick are ready for the new year.

[Trick-or-Treat Stevens]

A Red-tailed Hawk at the Hanover nest.

No signs of any of our old eagles at this nest for the season.

The only game in town is Lipstick and Guy's next.

The Cleaners moved up in the world.

But Guy is here.

... and so if Lipstick.

[Biggie]

That red-tailed hawk is quite a handsome bird.

[Trick-or-Treat Stevens]

Two eggs on the Farm Country nest, Lipstick and Guy.

[Trick-or-Treat Stevens]

Three eggs on the nest.

@Michelle Stevens the above photo is excellent. Thanks for posting.

[Trick-or-Treat Stevens]

Egg turning ..

As @Long Lashes would say the "Cleaners" are nearby.

[Trick-or-Treat Stevens]

I think there are three eaglets this year on Lipstick and Guy's nest.

[9unfold]

Although I've seen it before on this thread, I still find it hard to wrap my mind around the fact that the newly born grey balls of fluff will mature into a striking eagle.

[Biggie]

Excellent news. Please keep us updated on their progress.

[Trick-or-Treat Stevens]

One of the three eaglets died about a week ago but the other two seem to be doing well.

[Trick-or-Treat Stevens]

[Trick-or-Treat Stevens]

They've grown since I last posted.

On a rainy Monday.

[Biggie]

Entirely fascinating.

Quite the change.
