Superman Who played Lois Lane the best?

I voted for Margot Kidder.

I've seen at least bits of each of the other actresses portrayals and they all seem to hit the basics: beautiful, intelligent, resourceful. Margot brought a kind of lunatic energy -- which came with the actress more than the role -- that helped explain why straight-edged Clark would be so crazy for her.

I am not familiar with them all. I grew up watching the Reeves and Kidder films and I also love Teri Hatcher in The New Adventures. Then again, I also liked Kate Bosworth in the Superman film that everyone hated, and I personally loved. I hated Amy Adams as Lois Lane, but I hated that version of Superman all the way.
Hmmmmm.... I cant decide between Margot Kidder and Teri Hatcher.

I kinda like that Lois is a woman who's so determined that she's willing to almost drown herself -- twice! -- just to prove a point. You don't get that with the others.

This is a tough one for me as Margot Kidder and Teri Hatcher are my two favorites. And I can see from the voting that a lot of us feel the same way.

Difficult to say, because their eras were so different.
Personally, I liked Phyllis Coates, with Terri Hatcher a close second.
Phyllis Coates had that combination of a strong screen presence, film noirish quality, and
certainly a beauty! Would like to have seen more from her.
Teri Hatcher seemed perfectly cast. She should have been cast in one of the movies.

Not sayings she was the best, but Lesley Anne Warren played her onstage, in a spoof type production believe.
She had auditioned for the first movie, and might have been interesting in the role

Erica Durance i think is my favorite cause she's a smartass and can kick ass too, i love the rest of them too i love Margot Kidder as her as well as Teri Hatcher.

but watching Smallvill'es complete series i fell in love with Erica Durance when i saw her as Lois Lane

the other ladies who played Lois i think were all good in their own ways and different styles they each brought to the role but the Smallville Lois was the 1st one where
they had her yes get into danger all the time but she also could stand up for herself and she also was doing some fighting as well she wasn't always the victim who did need to be rescued and to take a guess from what i have seen her say Durance is a woman who's always been in staying in shape as long as she can remember and she can actually fight so she i think did do a lot of her own stunts actually on that show i think the cast did a lot of their own stunts but for certain things sure they had stuntman.

or stuntwomen as the case may be for the ladies. i've been watching Arrow and i'm about halfway through season 4 and i've got my mom hooked too lol anyways the character of Felicity who i just adore at least where i am anyways on the show isn't a fighter and she's a strong character that needs to be taught how to fight cause they should write her as she can stand up for herself as a fighter as well. even if she doesn't go out in the field, really only cause i get tired of them writing characters who always need to be rescued again on Smallville they had Lana like that at first but she's another woman that is always in shape and also can kick ass in real life as well so they put that at some point in the show and that i think help improve her character rather than having to be Rescued so much. later on when she was able to defend herself it was so nice not having to see her in so much danger where Clark had to come and rescue her.
