Who will replace Biden as the Democratic nominee?

Snarky Oracle!

Yes, his predictions have been right on target (with the one exception for obvious reasons.)

However, it's his dismissiveness of the idea that Biden is mentally unfit to serve for another four years that makes him come across as defensive and in denial.

He claims the Dems will likely lose if they replace Biden, but does he really think they can win with him? IMO, he seriously underestimates the damage that debate did to Biden.

Yes. It reminds me of how George Carlin became resigned to the fact that US politics was a sham, so he sat back and enjoyed the show. If Hillary manages to weasel her way into the White House, I hope her presidency is a mirror image of Trump's first term. I want salacious claims of colluding with foreign governments and impeachment scandals!

And if Biden gets back in as a stroke of un-luck (or just a stroke) we're going to have to handle Kamala and her own special brand of idiocy.

Hillary is more fun to hate (and I say that as somebody who has voted for her before) while Kamala is just more pathetic.

But I want my bitches.

We've got a border crisis, an economic crisis, a war in Ukraine, and a genocide in Gaza. Aside from being great for the rich, I'm not sure what Biden is "mostly right" about.

Biden also happens to stumble over his words and is a fluent liar, so there's that.

In fact, being a fluent liar and a plagiarist cost him his first run for president in 1988 (back when the mainstream media reported that sort of thing.)

Compilation Of Biden’s Public Lies & Plagiarism

Not surprisingly, the lies have continued from there:

Forget the Gaffes, What About Biden's Lies?

Yes, I was already following US presidential politics back then and I'm well aware that Biden is not without his own flaws. I know you disagree with this but I believe that in a first-past-the-post non-compulsory system a choice must be made between the two most viable candidates, and in my opinion Biden is the better of the bad choices.

We're all entitled to our opinions. Although many disagree, I believe Biden has done far more damage during his 52 years in politics than Trump did in a single presidential term. Biden's proven to be a bigger war monger with his complicity in the Ukraine war and the genocide in Gaza. That said, Trump wants to help Israel escalate their genocide in Gaza even further. Both Biden and Trump are a couple of vile war criminals. The fact that they are the only viable candidates for president and have sizeable fanbases disgusts me.

As long as the choice is between varying degrees of bloodshed and suffering, it isn't much of a choice at all IMO. It's certainly not a choice I'm willing to make, anyway.

The New York times reported today that Biden is considering withdrawing from the race, although his campaign has denied it.

Polling suggests that no one in the Dem party is matching up well with Trump.

His wife will be disappointed, she sure LOVES the limelight!

He looks Parkinsonian also, he has very little facial expression on his face, lack of arm swing etc
Yes, Jill Biden's starting to feel like the power behind the throne. She's been propping up her husband (both literally and figuratively) for quite some time now.

I remember when she campaigned for him in 2020. She admitted that Biden was worse than some other candidates on certain issues (she specifically mentioned healthcare.) However, she claimed that people should vote for Biden anyway because the other candidates had electability issues. The same talking point was pushed in the media after they had scared people about the prospects of Trump's second term. IMO, it was a combination of gaslighting and the moderate candidates dropping out to support Biden that ultimately clinched him the Democratic nomination. Now that his dementia has progressed beyond their ability to cover it up, the Dems are panicking and want to replace him.

Jill's post-debate pep talk to Biden came off like a mom talking to a child. She told him "You did such a great job! You answered all the questions! You knew all the facts!"

Ugh, she's so pathetic. People talk about the prospects of Michele Obama running for president someday, but Jill feels more like a Hillary Clinton wannabe to me.

The stories today about how the Biden campaign has been getting the questions from interviewers beforehand is adding more fuel to the Biden must go fire. Honestly not sure how he can survive at this point.

Yet the more backlash he’s receiving to get out the more he “digs in” and says he’s not going anywhere. Today he heads to Pennsylvania as the 5th Democrat this week calls for him to step down.
