I really enjoyed the first episode. They really don't hold back when it comes to satirising their real lives, particularly Tori & her money troubles. It's a really fresh way of rebooting the show although I would've watched it anyway, if they'd done a straight continuation following the characters lives.

Wow! Watching the new opening credits made me super nostalgic. I can't wait to watch this show!

The show is sort of like Episodes with Matt LeBlanc, a fictional version of reality. It's clever and I laughed a number of times in the first episode. I'm excited to watch more.

The ratings for this is hilarious - the debut episode got 1.5 in the A18-49 demographic; which is amazing. However, if you break it down it only got a 0.4 in the A18-34 demo. But then a 1.9 in the 25-52 demo.
Should we guess that the viewers of this just might be, I don't know, somewhere in the 35-49 demographic?

I just watched the first episode tonight and I LOVE IT! 
It's definitely a parady take on their lives. They are playing themselves but they are not themselves. For instance in another reunion I saw Jennie Garth was really shy. In this one she is acting like Kelly Taylor. It's like they want us to believe that she is similar to her character in real life.
The plot is a bit confusing since the lines between fantasy and fiction is being blurred. Tori seems most accurate to herself in the sense that we see her real life husband and 5 kids, her reality show seems to be cancelled and she is probably strapped for cash. Loved the line "She's like a zoo animal let out of the zoo"
But Jason has kids already.
Ian also has kids.
Jennie is married. (not going through a divorce as far as I can see)
Brian Austin Green is still married to Megan Fox.
I don't think Gabrielle is a grandma either although she is born in 1961 so she is in her late 50s now.
Still it's a fascinating take on celebrity life and what it can be like for some people.
I bet some pieces are probably true though, like Brian and Tori's routine before doing takes. I totally buy that, also I think I've read somewhere before that they used to date way back when. So it's possible they are ex's for real.
Oh and I am the only one left wondering if Jason and Jennie ever hooked up in real life?

I do feel a bit dumb that I never knew Ian's name was pronounced the way it is. I guess I never watched any interviews or anything to hear people say it.
