Appreciate your support...about to call Dr. Elby. I've scanned below Katy Trail. Have reviewed (using google aerial view) most of the area between the tollway/75 below 635. About to start the other side of the tollway. Then on to Las Colinas.

I figure either a townhome or double home. Could be still a decent area around Dallas. Could be what's likely still a decent area around LA. But that leaves a pretty large area to cover. One of us on here will get it one of these days/weeks/months.

Located nearby is the Hall of State building. Faraday is seen here sitting on the steps.


Let’s talk more about this location. Later in the series Lisa Alden (Faraday’s sister) spies on John Ross and Christopher when they take a field trip inside the Hall of State.


Also, The building exterior served as a courthouse in several establishing shots throughout the series run.


I can’t pass up making a connection to the revival series! Sue Ellen and Bobby visit the Texas capital in Austin several times. Scenes were filmed in the Hall of State and the decor will be familiar when you compare it to the scenes with Lisa Alden above.


Finally, if you watched Dallas’ Sheree J. Wilson in Walker, Texas Ranger then you will recognize the Hall of State from the show’s final episode. No spoilers, but similarities to April Ewing’s trip to Paris can be drawn.

I don’t think that is the same building. I haven’t had luck locating the bar you pictured or the one shown later in the show.

My guess is, that bar and cement wall next to it was where the temple is now, on Washington Ave. Great pic, Guzzler.

Later I did see a couple of spots on Turtle Creek tho'. Of course, could've been on a back lot or lake around LA. I'm picturing Bobby and Katherine at a picnic, a location used for other scenes as well.
