Because with all due respect to my English and Welsh friends, they had the majority and are bigger in population- it’s a bloody disgrace but England always ALWAYS has the final say. It’s part of why there is such a conflict in the tiny tiny country I’m from. To be frank, we’re bloody sick of it.

That's a thing about the referendum I never understood: two of four countries voted for remain and the representation of these other two countries isn't respected. What is the idea to be still part of the UK if you can't turn around anything because of the sheer dominance of the others votes per population?

Many people predicted that a vote for Brexit would effectively mean a vote to break up the United Kingdom and I think they are right. The result showed that the opinions of the smaller UK countries count for nothing because whatever England wants is the view that will prevail.

Personally I can't wait. I don't care so much that NI unites with the ROI but I want us separated from the 'United' Kingdom. We aren't United.

No one gives a thought for the fact that the people outside England have to fight for an identity of our own. I'm not English, I don't identify as British, although I technically am because of Northern Ireland's status, I'm also Northern Irish AND I'm Irish because I was born on the island of Ireland.

I want ONE identity not several.

The saddest part is that everyone was warned that this would be the case and people either dismissed it as "Project Fear" or they thought it was price worth paying to stop foreigners being allowed into the UK.

If only there was a way of limiting the tax rises to the people who voted for the Brexit disaster. This is their mess and they should be the ones who pay for it.
