I did take a sneaky peak at an episode and noticed a door to the left of the nursery door as you enter it so I guess that was her room. I'd never noticed it before. Strange how we just don't see some things or even think about them.
I thought I knew that room inside out!
I’ve never noticed this until now. That would definitely make sense. Not to complicate things further but I’ve always wondered where Theresa and Raoul officially stayed? Was it ever discussed?

Pam always beat her to it to get to baby John first,
It’s a wonder Pam didn’t build a secret tunnel from her bedroom to the nursery.

scene with Jock, Digger and Garrison was a missed opportunity.
This could’ve been fun for the dialogue alone.

Aww yes those cute little cottages. Did we dream them?

They would have had Garrison move in like he did anyway (even though we didn't see it) there were plenty of rooms. He was an elderly chap, JR would've made sure he was run ragged or got him bumped off or he could've forged a loving relationship with Mrs Reeves. Where did she even sleep? She used to appear from the nursery walls.

And she STILL is INSIDE the nursery walls. Along with the ghosts of all the Raúls, the Ramoses and others. That house is probably haunted by lower-class people who used to work for them.

S3 E18 "Jenna's Return"

Jenna runs into Bobby at the airport and says, "Charlie is on her way to see Marchetta and that she's spent time with him before and he's been a good father."

Interesting
Surprising how many of those continuity flaws and complete character turnabouts occurred.

Clayton should have introduced himself as Clayton Wayne!
Jordan Lee should have made up his mind what to call his wife.

Just watched the episode where Lucy and Mitch got married. I like Miss Ellie, but boy did she overreact. It was obvious that she must have had some built up anger that she was hiding towards Jock and especially Ray.

In a roundabout way, the person she should have been mad at is Gary. He knew how much his mom wanted him to be at Southfork, but for whatever reason, he says in front of Miss Ellie, Jock, Ray and Val about Ray being a Ewing "I guess I feel the best about it because now I don't have to come back and now I know that the ranch is in good hands." Ray then says "I'll always take care of Southfork, you can count on that." Miss Ellie storms away pissed off.

Miss Ellie should have been more mad at Gary and herself for not realizing that ship has sailed. Gary was never coming back to stay.

It's interesting to look a few episodes ahead and see Gary accidentally gaining J.R.'s respect.

When Gary came back for the reading of Jock's will, J.R. wanted to keep Gary from spending too much time with Miss Ellie. J.R. announced he had arranged for a limo to take Gary to Southfork and then back to the airport. J.R. observes that Miss Ellie has a weak spot for Gary and might do something foolish.

Gary lashes out-- "You take your limos and your observations and get the hell out of here!"

Larry Hagman handles this perfectly. Instead of getting angry he smiles, "Imagine that! Gary with a backbone. I wish Daddy could have seen this."

Ironically, I just saw that scene on YouTube last night. One of the best crossover moments.

I never understood what she was expecting here. Gary at Southfork living with the rest of the family was never going to work. I can understand her holding out hope as his mother but she had to know deep down that Gary couldn’t ever come home again to live there.

I'll tell you what never made one bit of sense to me

Ellie was complicit in kidnapping Lucy and keeping her away from both Gary and Valene. Why in the world would she think Gary could EVER forgive ANY of them for that?

I agree with you, but to be fair, Gary was an abusive drunk at the time. Not exactly father material. But they had no business kidnapping Lucy from Val. It was all about their egos and the Ewing prestige.

JR was abusive and SE was a drunk and Ellie and Jock never moved to take their child from them. Not excusing Gary, just saying Ellie never took responsibility for what she did.

That's true, but JR and Sue Ellen were at least living at Southfork where John Ross had the best care. Sue Ellen wasn't exactly on the run jumping from one cheap motel to the other. And let's be real, they saw Val as beneath them.

As for Miss Ellie not taking responsibility, she did apologize to Val for not doing something about it. Did JR or Jock ever apologize?

I guess I can understand it considering Gary’s issues, but Lucy’s upbringing was always a little odd. Val should’ve been allowed to be present in her child’s life a lot more than she was. That’s why I always suspected there was more to it that we were never told and therefore left to our imagination. Dallas did this very well in those early years. Was there something else that had happened between J.R. and Val? It always felt to me that the tension between them ran deeper than just ordinary family resentment.

I don't think JR ever apologized for anything at least not sincerely. Maybe he was gonna apologize to SE for Holly, but she told him to shut up.
