Truth is I barely knew who the man was until he was murdered, and what I did know, I didn't like.

What happened to him is awful and inexcusable. I'm sorry he's dead and sorry for his family. But I am not going to be forced to deify a man with whom I disagreed and I won't pretend he was some kind of American Saint. I also won't celebrate the federal government threatening to prosecute people or yank broadcasting licenses just because they don't like what is being said.

I support NATO I just don't support increasing funding while they're turning their backs on Ukraine.

You couldn't name one time the US came to Canada's defense. You also import more of our products because you need them more than we need yours.
We're currently increasing trade with Mexico, Asia and Europe...even shipping LNG overseas.
The US is becoming an isolated, distrusted regime that's hated. It will take years to walk that damage back.

You said it was Canada's proximity, we had no friends, weren't respected and you're the reason for our existence.
You ignored the link to Canada being voted the most respected country in the world in 2025. The US wasn't even top 20.

I've never said the US didn't contribute. I merely pointed out that they didn't and couldn't have done it alone. Continually denigrating the important contributions of other nations is one of the reasons Americans are known as "blow hards" around the world.
