Indeed, there has been a significant increase in people supporting a Swedish membership in NATO. I would say it's based on fear of Putin. I am still against Sweden joining NATO. I don't want us to be forced to join lots of conflicts around the world, especially knowing that some NATO countries are sometimes ruled by mad idiots.

Sweden's PM said today that Sweden & Finland have both talked with USA about working together without joining NATO. More like partner countries to NATO.

She also said that Sweden & Finland have reminded the EU of the solidarity clause. If one EU country is in trouble, the others are obliged to help.

In the end, I think Sweden will only consider about joining NATO if Finland decides to join or if we change government to the right-wing block after the election in September.

Experts are saying that either both Swe/Fin join NATO or neither join. We go hand-in-hand when it comes to our security.

Today Labour MP Diane Abbott raised the issue of racism that Black and Asian refugees have been subjected to while fleeing Russian attacks in Ukraine. The Ukrainian ambassador, Vadym Prystaiko, said that "problems arise" when foreigners appear to be prioritised for evacuation and called for racial segregation at borders to address issue. "Maybe we will put all foreigners in some other place so they won’t be visible and (then) there won’t be conflict with Ukrainians trying to flee in the same direction".

In the middle of a war and a refugee crisis and people still find time to display anti-Black and anti-Asian racism.

Over 4000 refugees are registrated daily in Sweden now. It's even more than in 2015.

We have to prepare for more and more waves of refugees because the climate crisis will cause waves of climate refugees in the future as well. Some areas will be below water surface and others will be too hot to live in.

Watching this clip... I'm so torn. It's both funny and horrible at the same time.

Doesn't fit to Putins support for a European fascist/ neo-nazi party. If you don't see that Putin rules like a fascist/ neo-nazi I can't help. Russia's governments were never on what is considered the "left"side in the western world. Maybe for a brief time with Gorbachev but that sadly didn't end well.

Putin and his unpalatable ways are not lost on me. But a stopped clock still shows the correct time twice a day.

The stopped clock should be thrown into a bottomless pit with all the others of his abhorrent kind.
