So Fallon of course tells the woman she has a husband and kids. She dresses as a soccer mom, rents a minivan, leases Tony D. Gardener's kids, and enlists Liam to play pretend.

Did you all miss this trivia highlight? Tony D. Gardener's kids - not called by their names in the episode - are actually named BETSY and BOBBY ! According to the end title credits (co-starring) and also on IMDb. NICE! ;)

So the father is basically Gary the gardener? :p

LOL, Cristal is in the fakest Mexico set ever.

The studio set is called Fake-sico actually.

It looked like one of those vignettes they create in furniture stores. The only thing missing was a piñata hanging overhead.

Unless of course the piñata had been wearing a black and white outfit with a huge hat, in which case it would have been a nice touch...

I dunno
Dominique was so great in this, and Adam and Kirby are getting involved... poor Kirby! :eck:

Is it "Poor Kirby" though?

By all accounts it seems like she might know what she's getting into. Maybe it'll be "Poor Adam" once we hit the season finale.

Dominique's plan with Michael is making absolutely no sense at all to me. What is she gonna do, threaten to show Vanessa? That scenario would be just as bad for her as it would be for him.

Since they're shooting at an actual mansion I bet it won't be long-lived.
Her new home will be a redress of that brick walled office set they have redressed as a nightclub and multiple offices already and y'all will deal.

Maybe so...I'll admit that when I heard she would be "getting her own house" I assumed they would just film in a part of the mansion that we haven't seen yet, or (like you said) they would just re-dress some rooms of the mansion to look different. There would be an establishing shot of some Atlanta house to let us know where the scene is set. Which is fine with me, because it saves money for things that really matter.

When Fallon told Liam that sob story about having peeked in the windows of the Winslow house as a teenager, enjoying watching a 'normal' family eat dinner, play charades, etc. I fully expected Liam to say something like "You expect me to believe that?" since it sounded so ridiculous, the sort of lie she'd make up just to con people into going along with her latest hare-brained scheme. It's still ridiculous, even if they want us to believe it happened.

That reminds me, when I was watching the episode I was thinking to myself "so the house is close enough to the manor that Fallon would sneak over there, but the old lady didn't already know who Fallon was?" I mean I guess it's possible, but it seems unlikely.

And Fallon didn't recognize the old lady.
So yes, that "sweet Fallon story" has to be fake. in my book, she just said that to Liam to make him follow her plan.

I recall us discussing the large, attractive mansion seen in the background (across the lake from the estate) during the season ending cliffhanger of season two. I thought it betrayed the idea that Carrington Manor was this enormous, solitary home out in the middle of hundreds of acres they own. I'm sure the director did not mean to include the view of that neighboring house when filming those scenes, since the idea that the Carringtons would have neighbors close enough to see...ugh, how proletarian. Anyway, it would be a good compromise if Fallon just lived in a house similar to that one--close enough to allow her to stay in the mix at the manor, but separate enough to feel like she had privacy.

I'm thinking again about this "saving life house" story from Fallon. Some parts have to be true. Because at least we know she knew the house and was obsessed with it.
