I don't believe in that at all.
Saw a documentary some years ago, where they proved that the star constellations that todays astrology is based on, were accurate many centuries ago, but are so vastly off today that someone who was born recently in December, would actually be Gemini today, as that's where the constellations are right now. It's all BS.
Those fakers come around with all kinds of predictions of wars, pandemics and other stuff all the time and then, when something like that really happens, they claim that they knew it beforehand.
People who "want to believe" in non-existing facts are easy money-victims, and that's the ONLY reason, why that astrology-crap still exists today, same as with any kind of religion. All BS and just claims from some people that cannot be proven by anything. But for many people it seems to be easier to believe that mankind is some "special snowflake" in the universe, instaed of dealing with the truth, that we are not important for anything in this universe and the ONLY reason we are here is a random comet impact millions of years ago. Earth and it's nature would have been much better off, had the dinasours stayed around. But many are so full of themselves that they "want to believe" and come up with religion, astrology and similar bs.

That's what makes almost any topic, esoteric or not difficult, to discuss constructively -- most people just have "the way they think" and they're much more interested in their view of their view and what that view says about them and their own validity, rather that the topic itself.

With astrology, certainly, you have fervent non-believers and googly-eyed indiscriminate believers, locked in their ways of thinking. Such that even when one gives startlingly easy-to-see examples, the non-believers (usually guys, proud of their skepticism) won't see it, while the enthusiastically indiscriminate believers (usually girls) won't see it either, because she's too busy projecting silliness onto it that has nothing to do with the real patterns.

Now, let's return to my BAD SEED example...

Once it can be proven as factual there would no longer be a need to believe in it. And I think this need is stronger than the belief itself, a coping mechanism for humanity, the universe, the concept of time, everything.
The truth and the belief don't mean much in the grand scheme of things, but it can mean everything in someone's life. Furthermore, believing isn't always optional, it's not like Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny.
