I don't think the story that Donna keeps telling about Ted in the shower is as funny in 2025 as she seems to think. If it happened today, it would probably get him arrested.
Right? I don't know if Ted was married at the time or not, but even if he wasn't, it was still totally inappropriate and disrespectful behavior towards Donna, even for back then.

I have met Joan and Donna and they are both very nice. :)
Donna seems to be the most normal and likeable of the three. Joan and Michele keep talking about themselves in the third person, it's just so odd and distracting.

This is actually something else Mills has in common with Joan Van Ark, who created the role of Gloria Fisher (later Gloria Abbott) on The Young and the Restless. Y&R, GH, and the others barely have any rehearsal time and certainly do not take time to do multiple takes of scenes like primetime shows do. Van Ark ultimately left Y&R earlier than planned and they recast the role. Officially it was said that Van Ark left because of a scheduling conflict with another project, but others later said that she was uncomfortable with how fast the soaps tape, since JvA was (is?) more of a perfectionist and wanted the chance to work on her scenes more.

It would be interesting to hear the two ladies discuss their experiences with their post-KL soap roles.
Did you notice how horrified Joan was when Donna talked about how Queens of Drama was largely improvised?

Exjust saw Michele at an event like an hour ago and she looked great. There’s nothing wrong with her eyes she’s just 80.

Exactly! Like, some of these people believe actors are frozen in time looking as they did 40 yrs ago...smh

Michele's voice sounds tired....that's the only thing I noticed. She's aged, but her voice seems older than her looks. She looks good for her age!

It’s not aging or tiredness, it’s a different issue (I won’t post it here because it’s personal).
we should all enjoy them while we still can instead of criticizing.

Dare I say it, but I think some people on here are being too precious. Saying Michele has a great smile or looks good for her age is not being critical. We're bound to notice little things since the podcast has gone visual. I don't see anything particularly offensive in previous comments posted.

Anyway, I enjoyed the latest podcast posted this week with Brian Green. It's clear from how he interacts with Donna that he had a big childhood crush on his TV mother!

I've just watched this and I agree. It's actually the first episode I've watched beginning to end. I was really impressed by how much focus and grounding he kept, and seemed to reign things back in when there were potential distractions or wanderings.

It really shows that he's worked consistently since Knots. Such ease and confidence and charisma. Even though I never watched 90210 beyond the early Nineties, it was also beautiful to hear about his support of Shannen on the reboot. Love how enthused he was about his idea for a one-off reunion as well.

How interesting that he doesn't remember the cul-de-sac. It makes sense in terms of his time on the series, but I'd never thought of that until he mentioned it.

How different is Brian's idea for a reunion from Knots Landing Together Again? They seem to have forgotten making that. And even fewer of the core cast would be available now.

How different is Brian's idea for a reunion from Knots Landing Together Again?

Now you mention it, what he suggested is pretty much exactly the same thing. But I liked what he said about people just wanting to hear them talk, and I like the idea of a more natural interaction. Together Again was fun, but everything was very "prepared" and for all the pretence it lacked real spontaneity.

You're right that of those who attended, a number have since died, but another reunion could be an opportunity to get people who weren't present for the 2005 "reunion". And some of them are in a very Knotsy place of late. In addition to this podcast (and the likes of Brian and Tonya) there was the recent Constance McCashin/Kim Lankford chat which was wonderful. Constance is also in regular touch with Bill Devane and John Pleshette, so if they could somehow bridge the gap between WKDY and other projects, there would be scope for a lot of fun. It's a flight of fancy, of course, but if they take up Brian's suggestion I'd be all over it.

Incidentally back on the latest episode of WKDY, I noticed at one point, Michele said something like "I hate to mention Nicollette Sheridan but..." (right before Brian mentioned seeing her sometimes). Does anyone know what's behind that? Is it to do with Nicollette's more recent reputation of being difficult, or was it a joke that went over my head? I had the impression Nicollette had got along well with everyone on Knots.

Donna speaks a little more about Nicollette in an interview from a few years ago (from 1:40 onwards) She clearly isn't a big fan of hers. She doesn't give too much away in this clip but appears to have been a bit spooked by the fact that Nicollette would secretly watch Donna filming some of her scenes, maybe thought she was copying/stalking her a bit? Who knows:

Over the years, when the three actresses were ever interviewed.. there would on occasion be a slip where Nicollette's name would be mentioned.. a random comment made by one of the three and then they'd move on. I think one time the three were on a talk show and were talking about some of their wardrobes worn on Knots (even had some of those pieces with them).. and JVA mentioned Nicollette and how her wardrobe was either odd.. or something none of the other women would wear... and then they moved on.

Yes - that helps to begin making sense of it. This story feels familiar so I think I've either seen this clip or heard/read Donna tell this story elsewhere. It certainly adds layers to the Abby Scale scene.

I'd imagine there'll be other mentions as the podcast goes on as well.

Actors are people and when you say something you never know what really happened to that person in their personal life.

Like let’s say you say someone’s eye brow was really crooked and why are they leaving the house with their eye brow looking like that but in real life they’ve had issues with their eyes and almost lost their eyesight and had to go through many surgeries and that’s what caused this eye brow to be like that.
This was a completely hypothetical example but hope you get the gist.

Btw I used to be completely the opposite — like I would say forums are for fans and we should say whatever we want as harsh as it is.

I think there was a TV Guide article when knots lending ended where Michele said something about Nicolette - like how she came with the wedding dress and had her veil in everyone’s face (season 13? Cast shoot)

honestly, if I were an actress in my 50s and they brought Nicolette to my show — she can be the nicest sweetest thing in the world, I would still hate her!

I’ve heard stories she’s been very harsh on men (dating-wise / friend of a friend) but this is more recent

I found a really interesting new podcast waiting for me on YT today featuring Morgan Fairchild and her sister Cathryn Hartt ("Two Bitches from Texas") with their very special first guest, Donna Mills. They don't focus as much on KL (since Mills's life in general is plenty), but it's fun seeing friends interviewing one another.

....but they promise Morgan will return the favor by appearing on We're Knot Done Yet. We've entered the phase where everyone has a podcast, but they're only interviewing other podcasters.

Interesting on the last Knot Done Yet about Michelle Phillips's reaction to Ted, or rather his to her. The others said that he could be shy, which makes sense to me - shy people can often seem aloof. It might have been that he was overawed by her. It would be a shame if Ms Phillips has misinterpreted his feelings all this time.

I thought it was a tasteless thing to say. I hope they give him equal time for rebuttal. Since they were drinking wine during the interview, maybe her tongue just got ahead of her brain...lol
