English subtitles with "computer bleeps"/"car honks"/"distant dog barking".
What's next? "movie plays"?
I think those are intended for the deaf or hard-of-hearing.

These seemingly-sane people who push their pets* around in specially-designed strollers as if this animal is a human child. These people have....issues.

* it's mostly dogs in the strollers, since cats have too much self-respect to be seen in such a contraption.
More than once I’ve taken a peek into a stroller expecting to see a baby and been fooled. It does make me laugh when I see a dog instead but I do get it I guess. People love to spoil their pets rotten. I’m yet to see both a baby and a dog in a stroller together though. Now that might be a bit much!

People who send texts that don't make any sense, and wouldn't even make sense to them is they bothered to read it first, and then somehow expect you to decipher it and respond.. This can include any combination of bad spelling, bad grammar, auto-correct or no punctuation. Also, when people don't answer anything you've asked them instead volunteering something else you don't care about.

I hate it that I can't watch American Horror Story season 9.
Yes, season 7 was disappointing and season 8 was truly awful but I had decided to stick it out and just hope for a better story to come along.
And Ryan Murphy is a whore for the garish and I wanted to see how he'd tackled the eighties theme. But I can't! To add insult to injury, everybody else on this forum has found a way to access it, or so it seems.

When 5 customers are lined up at the bakery and the young lady behind the counter informs the customer that will be $4.20 thank you. Customer then pulls out her wallet. Decides she doesn't wish to break a note and then looks for change in said wallet. Realizing she doesn't have enough she begins to empty out the contents of her handbag on the counter looking for loose change. Now 7 customers have queued. The young lady behind the counter offers that look to the patient customers as it to stay I'm terribly sorry because this customer cannot get their life in order and she is ruining your day.

The customer slowly puts her belongings back in her handbag, opens up her wallet and says, "I'll pay by card." Customer pays, slowly organizes her life before grabbing her loaf of bread and turns around to see a wall of disgruntled customers. No apology...nothing. Ignorance is bliss they say.

The fast food version of this annoying situation involves a line of people waiting somewhat patiently for their turn at the cashier. Everyone in line has been waiting for five or more minutes, with the huge, back-lit menu board offering customers the only distraction from boredom. Every time a new customer walks up to the counter, the cashier asks a variation of "What can I get for you?" and....silence. "Ummm....let me see....could I get....." they stammer, hem and haw as they scan the menu---the same menu that's been there since you entered the place five minutes ago. They've had five, long minutes to make up their mind, but "Ummmmm...." seems to be the only thing they can say for the next thirty seconds. I hate these people.

* Bonus points to the idiots who stand in the line all that time, and try to order something that isn't even on the menu.

I feel for the people who are taking the order.
On a side note, one of the ways that I evaluate a person's character is the way that they treat the Counter person/Waiter/Waitress/Retail employee.
These people are required to be polite and they are trying to make an honest living.
They deserve to be treated with courtesy and dignity

This is my favourite nonsensical hate right now: when a video or clickbait article is named "Five things you didn't know about..." and anyone over 35 knows these things. As if the universal "you" is unschooled in anything that occurred before the writer was aware of their surroundings.

The tattoo mania. Seriously, it's getting ridiculous.
It always pains me to see a gorgeous hunk covered with ink. And it's not like there's anything special about it, like an art statement.
It's become an uninspired, bland, run-of-the-mill and quite frankly not very intelligent thing to do.
But then again, perhaps that natural beauty needs to be counterbalanced by a lack of understanding of that very beauty.

If your body is a temple, then why cover the temple in graffiti?

I envision retirement homes in fifty-sixty years being full of gray-haired old grannies, covered in tacky, discolored and stretched-out tattoos while they knit sweaters for their cats. Grumpy old grandpa shuffles by and asks "Hey, Tiffany---wanna play Connect the Liver Spots?"

I've never understood the notion of having a tattoo. I do however believe in freedom of expression as it's your body, nobody else's and well it's a life choice which is permanent. So choose your tat carefully and preferably no girlfriend/boyfriend names. My nieces have tatt's but I don't judge and I hope others won't as they have been raised well and contribute to society in a positive way.

And also, when such things are presented in such a manner that you have to click to see each one (instead of a list that you can scroll down), and it takes an inordinate amount of time for each item to load as/after you click on the arrow to see it.

In the UK tattoos are ubiquitous. They've become "yeah, so what". When I hear the reasoning for getting disfigured as "It's how I express myself" I retort with "Didn't have it in you to formulate a coherent sentence to express yourself". Blank expression is offered.
