I think those are intended for the deaf or hard-of-hearing.English subtitles with "computer bleeps"/"car honks"/"distant dog barking".
What's next? "movie plays"?

More than once I’ve taken a peek into a stroller expecting to see a baby and been fooled. It does make me laugh when I see a dog instead but I do get it I guess. People love to spoil their pets rotten. I’m yet to see both a baby and a dog in a stroller together though. Now that might be a bit much! These seemingly-sane people who push their pets* around in specially-designed strollers as if this animal is a human child. These people have....issues.
* it's mostly dogs in the strollers, since cats have too much self-respect to be seen in such a contraption.
I feel for the people who are taking the order. The fast food version of this annoying situation involves a line of people waiting somewhat patiently for their turn at the cashier. Everyone in line has been waiting for five or more minutes, with the huge, back-lit menu board offering customers the only distraction from boredom. Every time a new customer walks up to the counter, the cashier asks a variation of "What can I get for you?" and....silence. "Ummm....let me see....could I get....." they stammer, hem and haw as they scan the menu---the same menu that's been there since you entered the place five minutes ago. They've had five, long minutes to make up their mind, but "Ummmmm...." seems to be the only thing they can say for the next thirty seconds. I hate these people.
* Bonus points to the idiots who stand in the line all that time, and try to order something that isn't even on the menu.
I've never understood the notion of having a tattoo. I do however believe in freedom of expression as it's your body, nobody else's and well it's a life choice which is permanent. So choose your tat carefully and preferably no girlfriend/boyfriend names. My nieces have tatt's but I don't judge and I hope others won't as they have been raised well and contribute to society in a positive way.If your body is a temple, then why cover the temple in graffiti?
Well, it is a hate thread after allbut I don't judge and I hope others won't
This is my favourite nonsensical hate right now: when a video or clickbait article is named "Five things you didn't know about..." and anyone over 35 knows these things. As if the universal "you" is unschooled in anything that occurred before the writer was aware of their surroundings.
In the UK tattoos are ubiquitous. They've become "yeah, so what". When I hear the reasoning for getting disfigured as "It's how I express myself" I retort with "Didn't have it in you to formulate a coherent sentence to express yourself". Blank expression is offered. The tattoo mania. Seriously, it's getting ridiculous.
It always pains me to see a gorgeous hunk covered with ink. And it's not like there's anything special about it, like an art statement.
It's become an uninspired, bland, run-of-the-mill and quite frankly not very intelligent thing to do.
But then again, perhaps that natural beauty needs to be counterbalanced by a lack of understanding of that very beauty.
