They don't recognize homophobia or an internet troll when they see one. Or more likely, they simply don't care. Either way, how on earth would they know right from wrong?

However, I don't think putting every discussion into one tangled thread is the solution.

This wasn't done lightly and the main reason for this is because of all the bickering. The fight between some members spilled out into many of the threads.

We have asked the members to stop the bickering, they responded by continuing it on and questioning our decisions.

All in all we have had enough and the best way to contain this was to limit it to one thread.

The political forum has gone on more or less as it is now, and it hardly raised an eyebrow.

Believe me it has raised many eyebrows.




Merging all the threads into one may seem like it's a complete mess, but at least the mess is contained in one area and not spread over six pages.

I personally am going on a much needed vacation on Saturday.. I feel I need a break from here(which you would think would be a diversion) over work..

Sorry.. I am sure it means nothing at this point but hopefully I can find a way to prove it sincere.. It may not seem like it but I really hate the fighting..

This place has managed to be civil for years up until this summer..

After a campaign that's lasted more than a year, I'm fairly certain I'm clear on the issues. In fact, I'd say it's a safe bet that most of the free world is thoroughly enlightened.

I'm well aware that homophobic abuse isn't considered a problem here, but that has nothing to do with the discussion of the presidential election allegedly stifling/burying the discussion of other political topics.

Tomorrow does naturally start the "rubbing it in" phase that you see coming.. So I doubt things will change quickly.. In my mind's eye I can see a few, salavating.. They can't wait to taunt ..validating themselves..

Yes I agree some just can't be stand up people and be nice to others. I can understand that people will be happy if their candidate wins but I don't wish to see it rubbed into other peoples faces.

This has nothing to do with anything but I got up this morning and thought it was Wednesday morning and raced to the TV to see who had won...then I remembered it was only Tuesday
