Morgan Brittany, John Beck, Deborah Shelton, Audrey Landers and Jenilee Harrison were not in the opening credits
Should they have been?
Yes absolutely. I understand why they weren't at the time (popularity, ratings, time/space etc.) but considering those later years they gave anyone a place (Barbara Stock and Lesley-Anne Down specifically come to mind) it's disappointing in hindsight.

One of the characteristics of the golden years of "Dallas" was that the Opening stayed the same, with Susan Howard replacing the void left by Jim Davis´ death. Priscilla´s title was the exception to the rule, and only because she was a "celebrity", which was the reason to be of both character and its long life in the show.

IMHO, none of the characters above-mentioned was meant to last more than one or two seasons. I´m sure that Mark would have died in Season 10 if Bobby hadn´t returned, and the same goes for Jamie. Mandy, Katherine and Afton were exhausted as characters following the classic structure of narrating of the show (no matter how much we love/hate those three).

What Lorimar, or Katzman didn´t like was having to change the titles every season, because behind all the twists and turns and dysfunctionality, "Dallas" had to give the same thing to the audience, always, every season, starting with the titles. People knew they were going to meet the same old characters doing the same funny stuff. When that changed, the show declined. At the end, they had to change the titles every season because there was almost nobody left, and the Opening would have looked too short (imagine Season 14 with only Bobby, JR and Cliff...).

And why not HER? I wonder.

It always annoyed me that the Andersons were so friendly with Clayton after Jock passed.
They were befriending a man who was doing things that would have angered Jock, became an adversary to JR,
pursued Sue Ellen, had a thing with Laurel, eventually gained half of SF. They acted as if Jock never existed.
I know, they were supporting Miss Ellie, but it always seemed to overlook their friendship with Jock

Blame the writing. If I'm not mistaken, Punk even said or implied that he and Clayton went back a ways. If you have an issue with the Anderson's, what about Ray? Clayton pretty much replaced Jock in his life. Ray even said during the Parmelee storyline, "I don't care if you are Jock, I'm siding with Clayton."

Good Point.
If I recall, Ray was initially willing to at least consider the possibility that Wes was Jock.
It was after the show decided not to bring back Jock that Ray said that.

From Episode 3: Spy in the House

Who is this, and why would Cliff have a picture of him in his bedroom of all places? I'm guessing Digger, but it's kinda a strange considering David Wayne played Digger in the first episode. OR, is that David Wayne when he was younger?

I liked "Conundrum" more than most people. It gave some context to JR's life, and how there would be no Ewing Oil without him.
I never liked that JR didn't have control of Ewing Oil after Jock passed.
I think Bobby would have been better written as an elected official who was constantly at odds with Ewing Oil's business.

I think the show lost its way when it forgot the "Old West" component of the story,
best represented by Jock.
The only significant nod, possibly, was the range war (a somewhat updated version of the Old West)
Even though Dandy was not a popular character, there was a temporary reference to be seen.

On an unrelated note, the final sceneof the series could have been the following

A despondent JR hears a knock on the door.
Bobby saysthat someone is here to see us, and I think we should listen
Steve Forrest walks in and says that it is time for us to get Ewing Oil back
