1) What is your favourite ever British soap opera, either past or present, and why?

2) What is your favourite overseas (i.e. non British) soap opera, either past or present, and why?

3) Have you ever visited the sets of any of your favourite tv soaps or serials. If so, which ones and did they live up to expectations?

4) Do you post on any forums outside of tellytalk.net?

Welcome to my thread...! Ooops, sorry. Here are my questions, I hope we all have fun!

1) Have you ever been to Spain, my country? What did you like the most? If not, why?

2) You are on a desert island. You see three people coming your way (so it´s not really a desert island!): Abby Ewing, Alexis Colby and Katherine Wentworth. All of them are smiling and waving at you. But you can only choose one to live with, and enjoy all the delicatessen they can offer (each own a shop at the other side of the island!). Which one would you choose?

3) If you could jump into one of the Dynasty seasons as a character, which one would you be? And which season would you choose, and what changes would you make to improve it?

"I know you adore moi, as everyone else! (Giggles) People always ask for my advice in fashion because they know I have a very good taste. If you had to give moi a makeover (how absurd!), what would you change in moi? What would you choose for me to wear (only haute couture, pleeeeease). Thanks a lot darling!"

I think it would be Prisoner:Cell Block H or prisoner as it’s known in Australia. There’s not much I don’t know about the show.

1. EastEnders. I think it’s because I was born in 1981 and it’s the first one I remember watching. Den and Angie who ran the pub - angie in particular had me hooked and I can actually remember watching the Christmas Day divorce episode. It’s my favourite because I’ve always loved the characters and storylines.
2. This is such a TOUGH choice as there are so many I love - Dallas, Dynasty, Knots Landing, Neighbours and Prisoner are all up there. If I really have to pick one I’d say Prisoner with Neighbours after that. Why do I like it? I think being a gay man, I’m drawn to strong women, Angie Watts, Bet Lynch, Alexis Colby, Sable Colby, Sue Ellen Ewing, Val Ewing, Helen Daniels and Joan Ferguson - what legends they are! They had me glued to the screen. Prisoner was full of them. I loved seeing how the stories played out on the inside, the fights, the fire is my favourite storyline, Joan vs almost everyone. It’s just great tv in my opinion.
3. I’ve never visited any of the sets of my favourite shows. My dream is stand below the sign for Ramsey street. I’ll get there one day.
4. Yes I post on a forum for Prisoner but can remember the address!

1. No I’ve never been to Spain. There’s no reason why I’ve never been to your country. It just hasn’t happened for me yet. But I’ve been to Gran Canaria 5 times, does that count?
2. Alexis Colby. She’d have the the finest cuisine money could buy.
3. That’s tough! I’d jump into season 6 the final episode and be alexis. Just for that last scene where’s she tells Blake she owns the house. I’ve watched that scene so many times. It’s great. I think I’d improve season 6 by having some of the main cast killed during the massacre. Krystle would be at the top of my list. She’s my least favourite character.

1. Dallas. I know more about it than any of the others. I’ve watched it 3 times in full so I think I’d do fine in that forum. I’ve seen dynasty twice in full and I’ve seen knots landing up to season 5. Gutted that cbs drama over here in the uk haven’t repeated it. Their content used to be so good now it’s rubbish.
2. I think I was looking for something Dallas related and stumbled across it. I liked the look of it and the fact that you could talk about almost all the shows I liked drew me in. I wrote some fan fiction for Dallas for a while. My problem is as a primary school teacher my job kind of takes over my life so I only get to enjoy the forum in the holidays.
3. Oh what’s not to like about Alexis?! The clothes, the hair, the one liners, the fact that she was a bitch, almost completely invincible and never wrong, my favourite season of hers was 2, then her rivalry with sable later on is first class. She steals the show in season 6 when she tells Blake to get out of her home.

1. Interests including fitness, running, I run 4 times a week, cooking and baking, I love food, reading and writing - fan fiction, short stories. Walking my dogs. Travelling to new places, travelling around England - the Lake District is an amazing place and I’m glad I get to call it home, though I’ve lived in liverpool now for almost 20 years. Watching shed loads of tv and going to the cinema. I love the whole cinema experience. I love to laugh too.

Oh yes I have. My favourite character in Prisoner is Prison Officer Vera Bennett. I met Fiona Spence who played her (she also played Ceila Stewart in Home and Away) at a meet and greet afternoon with many other fans at an event in Birmingham in 2008. She was a lovely person. She said that it wasn’t like it is today, she couldn’t request time off, she had to leave, had she been given the opportunity she’d have taken 3 months off and returned. It was a lovely afternoon.
