An excellent question. I'd completely forgotten about her. What on earth happened to Claudia and her baby? She drove off with Hank and nobody mention her. Did her storyline die along with Celia Machado?
I'd prefer if they kept the two of them apart because I think the character of Fallon is better for it. I had issues with this character last season with her constant, smart arse put downs. When they introduced Alexis it just became silly with the mother/daughter pool fight. In the return season I've actually enjoyed the character of Fallon as she stepped away from her family. I'm kind of hoping the writers in forthcoming episodes has Blake throw Alexis, Anders, Steven and Sam off the Carrington property. I think this is when Fallon could be used as a go between as she keeps a close relationship with her half-brother.They'd previously said that this season would focus much more on the mother daughter dynamic between Fallon and Alexis but they've barely shared a scene together in these first three episodes.
I'm also in agreement on this. We suddenly have what we thought was a blood Carrington is not and what we thought was the Colby kids are now blood Carrington's. I think I have that right. And what has become of this? I can see why many have issues with Dynasty. The writers are throwing everything at this reboot except the kitchen sink. Instill some calmness around the Carrington family and allow the story to become organic, not beat us around the head with shocking revelation after another. Another well known super soap from the 80's tried this in their continuation and it failed.Having Carringtons not be Carringtons only serves to dilute the dynastic element of Dynasty IMO
So that's why Steven will leave soon and James Mackay won't be on the show for much longer.![]()

Has this been announced? Or just rumoured?
By now we know nuDynasty can pull off a twist and a good cliffhanger. I'd rank season one's finale in the top three including original Dynasty and The Colbys, BUT they're doing what the original show did by having a great cliffhanger and not following up.
Following on from a major cliffhanger would not be dated in my opinion, especially so with Dynasty 2.0. I think the writers missed a great opportunity not continuing with the fire scene and allowing actors like Grant and Nicollette to flex their acting chops. Watching a scene where one of the characters was physically pulling Alexis to safety while she was screaming out for Cristal would give me hope this Alexis had some moral compass. Also, I gather, picking up directly from the cliffhanger is considered dated nowadays, a little too 1980s, which I find beyond silly.
Maybe the State of Georgia still considers them married? In the eyes of the law, Blake married Cristal Flores, not Celia Machado, and if Cristal is (possibly) still married to Mark Jennings ("not quite divorced"), then Georgia and/or Arizona will say she's a bigamist. She'll need some legal help getting out of such a situation, and of course any lawyer she hires might decide to milk the Carringtons for all they're worth "on his client's behalf" (without her knowledge or consent).but the fact that Cristal has closed the door on "them" makes me wonder how the writers are going to push them into each other's arms... I mean, we all know Cristal's not going anywhere.
I can't even picture Anders and Alexis together, I just don't see it.
